“My husband and I stayed at Lorry’s last year for our honeymoon and the service was phenomenal! We called the day of and the staff was able to get us a room right away. Even though we booked our stay on such short notice, the staff was still able to give us the biggest room they had and decorate it with balloons and gifts for us. The hospitality of the staff is what truly made us happy! They were so thoughtful and they did so much to make our honeymoon special. The room they gave us was absolutely beautiful as well. It had everything we needed and it was extremely clean. I would highly recommend Lorry’s to anyone! The room rates are low and the service is spectacular! My husband and I will definitely be returning to Lorry’s again soon!”

“Stayed at your hotel this weekend for two nights three days for the chowder fest. We stay at this hotel few times a year and like that we have a pool and its clean. Can use more towels in the bathroom. Most of the front desk people are great and very nice. Only problem is the women Donna that works there is so rude and nasty. On the other hand the women Dolores is amazing so nice and is always there when you need help or have a questions”

“My husband and I chose the Island Guest House B&B for our wedding venue. We were able to book all 18 rooms so that our family and friends could stay the weekend. Our experience was unforgettable. Daily breakfast by the staff was delicious. Our innkeeper and bartender Victoria, truly made our stay and is just the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. Our wedding reception was held in the beautiful spacious courtyard and our ceremony was held right on the beach. All of the rooms we’re perfectly decorated, clean, and comfortable. The location was only 3 blocks from the beach and within walking distance all shops and restaurants. It was the perfect setting we were looking for and after this great experience I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a small wedding, celebration, Family reunion, girls weekend, etc. or to anyone who just wants to spend a relaxing weekend away.”

“Such a lovely motel with a very B&B vibe. We were warmly welcomed. It was such a pleasure to meet the family who owns Ella's. We travel to Barnegat Light every year for Running-for-Joy5k but this was the first time we stayed overnight. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bathrooms are large and clean with good water pressure. The delicious breakfast was served to order by the family in a bright homey kitchen. I look forward to returning again this year and would recommend Ella's to anyone.”

“Sea shell has the perfect central location for a Beach Haven vacation. We parked our car and didn’t touch it during our 3 night stay. Check in was friendly and efficient and included complimentary beach badges and beach towels to use during our stay. Room was clean with two queen beds and a nice updated bathroom with stall shower. We stayed on the first floor. Two cons: you could hear the other guests coming and going past your room. The beds were a little soft for my liking. Hotel has a lively beachfront restaurant and bar. Do not stay on the ocean side if you are looking for a quiet stay. There are ample lounge chairs if you want a break from the open beach. Pool deck is little small and literally in the middle of the restaurant. Overall a pleasant stay.”

“Stayed on 2nd floor ocean view with my daughter for close to a week, 233 on the far end. The room is very dated and minimal but more importantly to me, it's very clean. The towels smell like bleach and the shower is hot with great water pressure. We got 1 queen bed but thankfully I bought along an air mattress. The bed is very hard and since I'm no spring chicken, I found it uncomfortable. There's a fridge and Mike which was very helpful. The view is nice, you can see the ocean but not the beach. After staying here and getting a good feel, I would only come back if I could book one of the 3rd floor end rooms. They are suites with way more room and awesome views of the pool, ocean and surrounding area. Check in was awesome, they let us have the room 4 hours early and we got badges to use for the beach. We parked, chained bikes to fence and haven't gotten in the car but once. It's convenient to fantasy island and Bay village. I would definitely recommended this hotel to others, the only downside we experienced being on the far end, the internet want good. You keep getting dropped but by the pool it was excellent. The house keeping staff does a great job as well. We are sad to leave.”

“Not a bad thing to say about our 3 days here. It was very laid back, everything I wanted in a beach weekend. It is located on the bay which is beautiful especially for the sunsets. There is a deli and bike rental across the street. And its a very easy walk to the beach, you can get tags right from the office with a deposit. The pool was great and very clean. As were the common areas and room.”

“We're repeat visitors to the Victoria Guest House and just returned from another lovely stay. Judy and John go out of their way to make sure your visit is comfortable. The breakfast is always great and offers something for everyone. Location is perfect - super short walk to the beach down the block and shops and restaurants are just around the corner. “Super friendly, family owned business. Daily board written up with things to do and places to go. Morning coffee and crumb cake, with great conversations. Always greeted with a smile. Clean rooms & friendly staff. Awesome rooftop deck, perfect spot to watch the sunrise, chill and people watch, or kick up your feet and unwind. Local shuttle is affordable and can get you to any location you need, but when you want some real R&R come back to the jolly roger.
