Dr. Roehnalt is wonderful! The negative review on here doesn’t apply to her as a doctor. I’ve only had great experiences and timeliness with her.
Absolutely love Dr. Roehnelt. She is caring, listens and knows what needs to be done to get your levels under controll.
We asked our cardio doctor at Summit Medical Group if he could recommend an Endocrinologist to address some issues regarding bone loss. He brightened immediately and almost exclaimed that they now had Dr. Alessia Roehnelt, and to not waste a minute booking an appointment with her. Well. My poor wife is so severely injured by a tragedy, that most doctors seem to shrug their shoulders. Out of every 4 doctors we visit, three visits end up nowhere. With 27 practitioners currently attending to my wife, we've gotten really good at figuring out who's good and who just isn't. Dr. Roehnelt met with us in a timely way. She was fully prepared and had scoured my wife's records. She greeted us with empathy (nice) and really seemed up for the challenge. And boy, was she ever. Like a detective going through all the possibilities, and pros and cons of various treatments, (She had a ton of ideas) she finally seemed happy that she had thought things through correctly and made a recommendation that ended up solving, as in FIXING, multiple issues my wife was experiencing that had stymied other doctors and more. Let me tell you, we've seen well over 100 doctors since my wife's injury over 2 years ago. When you find someone who's done their homework, explains all the alternatives to you and the pros and cons in a deductive, logical way, instead of just looking at you and saying "do this", HOLD on to that doctor. Not only will you learn a ton, but you'll know why the decision was made. She definitely made our care team in a big way. This is a rising star in the medical community. Smart, courageous and knows what she's doing. That's the sum of it.
