The chef exudes pride in recipes, ingredients, preparation and presentation. I had scallops and risotto. The sauce was outstanding; poignant and flavorful. Scallops were seered perfectly. “Excellent German delicatessen and lunch spot. Large variety of very high quality German style hams and wursts. Good variety of refrigerated, ready to go, made-in-the-shop foods, e.g. breaded chicken and fish cutlets, frikadellen, german and mayonnaise potato salad, egg salad, cole slaw, macaroni salad, and a wonderful herring with beets potatoes and apple salad. Their shop-made suelze is almost elegant, and is the best I've tasted in the US and Europe.”
