“This office provided me with EXCEPTIONAL life saving service! I had a reservation with another company and on the pick up day, I was told I could not get the vehicle. I was in New York City with my children was almost about to cry because I had never been to New York and now I was being told I could not get a vehicle because I did not have a major credit card. I am a planner and called the previous company BEFORE I left Florida to make sure I could get the vehicle with my debit card. They told me everything I would need and I complied only to be denied. I scrambled to find another agency that could help. I found that with BUDGET! The rental pick up was reserved where I had no clue on how to get there and they were closing at 4pm that day. ???????????? BUT...the angels that were there in Mantawan, NJ had my children and I covered. The manager Billy and the agent Karen were so helpful and I appreciated it so much. Karen went the extra mile with her customer service. She told me EXACTLY how to get to them. I had never road on NJ Transit and didn't know how to get there from Penn Station in NYC. She explained it in full detail from where to go buy my tickets, what time the train came that I needed to catch, how to watch the screen to make sure I get on the right train, the stop I needed to get off at and to call them when I arrived for customer pick up! Then the manager Billy, took over the rest of the way. He got all of the info he needed from me and within 15 minutes my children and I were in a vehicle and on our way! This is the kind of company you want to deal with and the people they trust to take care of the public is just as important. Billy and Karen are worth their weight in gold! My kids and I are forever grateful for Budget at the Matawan, NJ office.”
