“I am extremely great full to the owner of this shop. I changed my own battery and foolishly did not tighten my terminals enough. My car died on the the busy Main Street of Bound Brook Road. By the grace of God it stalled right in front of this mechanics shop. He helped me push my car onto his lot than he tightened up the terminals and got my car running for me. He refused to take a penny from me which really surprised me. He could of easily took advantage of the situation which I was totally expecting but he didn’t. It seems as though decent people are becoming a rarity these days, and this experience was helpful in the sense of restoring my faith in humanity a little. “I have a 2008 Land Rover LR3, which if you are familiar with then you know it is an extremely finicky car. My air suspension was stuck in the lowest position and giving off suspension fault warning lights. Went to three different mechanics, though they tried their best, all I got was partial fixes which never really took and never properly diagnosed. One of those mechanics referred me to Larry at Pinnacle, who took on the job. Though the job took almost a month, Larry did not stop until he properly diagnosed the problem...and fixed it. Plus his office manager, Rachel, was extremely patient throughout all my calls for updates during the month. If you love your car, and want the job done right, I recommend you call Larry first.”

“Great Customer Service! We had a 4ft branch go thru the lower part of the passenger side of our windshield of our 2021 Hyundai Elantra. It damaged our windshield, Hood and the heater box was completely destroyed. It took a little time to get our car., because the shop had to order a new heater box. But when we got our car back it was completely restored back to it’s original state. The paint on the hood matched perfectly. Needless to say we ARE very pleased! “I got a GT350 intake manifold, GT350 throttle body, installation kit, and email tune for my S550 Mustang from these folks. The included instructions were great, and the installation kit made everything mate up like it was meant to. The email tune cranked up on the first try (I was nervous), and the idle smoothed out within a couple minutes. There was one bolt missing from the installation kit, but they quickly shipped me a new one to complete the project. The email tune can take a bit, but it'll be worth it if you don't have access to a local tuner. I'm not going to look anywhere else for upgrades to my Mustang from now on!”

“Absolutely blown away by the service I received at pep boys…. Went to the one in hazlet years ago and it sucked. The manager was inexperienced and not a people person. (And usually if the manager sucks so does the service.) But I was desperate to get my car worked on, so I waited. The assistant service manager, Joe was honest, thorough, and straightforward. He was extremely busy and had other customers ahead of me but still managed to take his time explaining the work needed, and surprisingly I was in and out of there. I tried to tip the tech Peter who serviced my vehicle, but he declined. Was surprised someone so young was so efficient and professional. Very nice people. Would definitely go back, these guys changed my mind about pep boys. You can tell the staff really get along and everyone seemed to have a smile on their face. Joe and his team really know what they’re doing and I’m happy I took the chance. Will definitely go back to see them if I need other work done.”
