“On behalf of myself and the condo association, I would like to thank the Bayonne Fire Department for their speedy response to protect us, as well as the units. Yesterday, there was some sort of transformer explosion from a helium balloon resulting in a fire, power outages, down lines, and other damages. The sound of the electrical surges and explosions could be heard by the entire block. It started at the other end of the block and worked its way all the way down the block snapping line after line. There were children playing, and it was very dangerous. It was a very scary scene to witness and the voltage could have been very harmful. THANK YOU FOR PROTECTING. People should not release these balloons in the air. They are dangerous! Very good work here.”

“Recently my family held a 70th Birthday party at Club 176. We found the venue to be just what we had needed. Not to small and not to large. We had approximately 40 people with full catering and table service along with a few gaming tables as we had used a casino theme. We were given full access to the club's facilities well in advance so as to allow plenty of time for setup and decorating. Our caterer was very pleased with the kitchen facilities and was able to make good use of them for preparation and staging of the food served. The surprise party came off perfectly and everyone complimented us on how well everything went and especially on the venue itself. Many of them said they were going to keep the place in mind for the next time they plan a gathering. Our thanks to Jack for his assistance and hospitality.
