“I highly recommend! I love coming to this diner. This is a NJ diner staple. Servers and staff are very friendly and make you feel more at home then a patron in an eatery. That is hard to come by. A mother-daughter team working there always offers great conversation and makes all feel welcome. Today Mary took care of us and she was beyond sweet to all of her guests. I usually take out, pretty much daily, but dining in is great, relaxing, and enjoyable. I usually buy one of their chicken by the quart daily. The Onion Soup has good flavor and is not packed with cheese. I wanted more. 2. Steak & Eggs was awesome. My husband said that his strip steak was really tender and very good. It is served w/ Hash Browns and Toast. 3. The Greek Salad is huge and fresh. It is now part of my lunch for tomorrow. 4. The Chicken Fajita Wrap was tender and gratifying. It is served w/ a large portion of French Fries & Coke Slaw and a pickle. This is also apart of the next day’s lunch. 5. Love the Disco Fries. I literally eat them almost daily. 6. Fair pricing for large and tasty portions. 7. The Diner really seems to care about it’s customers. Other Items Ordered in the Past: 1. Great atmosphere, however, WiFi has been shaky both times I have been there. And the baristas need a little more experience. But definitely visit. And I'll update my review over the next month. “I met up with one of my friends for a quick happy hour drink. When I arrived I found parking right in front. I walked in and there was no one at the hostess booth so I walked to the bar and asked if I can seat myself. The server asked if I checked in and I told her there was no one there. She kind of in an attitude said that the hostess was working along actually. She then checked and said I could sit at the bar. I don't know the young lady's name but she had curly hair and was shorter. Greatful for my bartender Kamola (was messing up her name all night, so this might be wrong also 🤦🏽♀️) but she was great. I ordered the margarita on happy hour and it was tasty. I loved the sugar rim because it tasted like candy. My friend ordered the shrimp basket and mango margarita and she liked her things as well. The bill was only a little over $30. Besides the beginning everything else was good.”

“Great little spot nestled in downtown Manasquan right by the train station. Good amount of seating for the size and a nice bar area. Grab a drink before your train or come to watch a game, the atmosphere is warm and you are bound to run into someone you know. All the drinks you can think of and a surprisingly large menu, the food here is a welcomed surprise. Delicious and reasonably priced, I struggle to find something on the menu which I have not thoroughly enjoyed ( try the French dip!). Trivia here is a must! And Steve the bartender/trivia master is a consummate professional and is guaranteed to have you laughing within minutes of walking through the door. A must stop whenever I am taking the train into the city or need a warm meal and a beer after a long day at work”

“Such a cool spot!! Loved the interior and all the beautiful art. The music is on point and they play anime in the background. Was popping on a Friday night and still didn’t feel too crowded with how the seating is set up. The tonkotsu ramen was ok but the spicy miso ramen was AMAZING. Loved the thicker noodles and it was wonderfully spicy. We also enjoyed the black garlic ramen. Also one hundred percent recommend the Rayaki fries. So so tasty and delicious. Now for my standard covid comments as of March 2022. Again the interior was nice and clean. Seating arrangements are somewhat distanced. All staff members are wearing masks. Definitely a well kept and comfortable indoor experience.”

“Literally the best authentic Thai food I’ve eaten in my life. This is coming from someone that’s tried every local Thai restaurant as well. The portions are very large and the flavor is amazing. For reference, I usually order my meals “1 star” spicy to bring up the heat a little bit which is a personal preference. “Great food! About $10 per plate, the food is all very good. The chicken kebab has great flavor and a nice char. The fries were super crispy. The young man at the register was friendly. We weren't sure what to try and he directed us well. Their sauces are outstanding and freely available. The dining is not fancy but I really appreciate having a place to sit and eat without all the time and fuss of a sit down restaurant. You can get your food, sit and eat (like you would at a fast food or pizza place). This is only a 5 minute drive from the beaches of Asbury Park. We went twice in a week and it was very consistent. If you're looking for somewhere that is more comfortable than the downtown restaurants (and free parking), this is an amazing option!”

“As I walked in, the restaurant left me in awe. The tables were clean, with signs on them that read that the table had recently been cleaned by an employee. Spiderverse crowns placed at every table in the restaurant. The cleanliness of every portion of the restaurant was a wow moment. We all know that burger kings get a bad rep for being dirty with nasty kitchens, but not this one. Upon getting to the restaurant, I received a nice welcome by the employee and the service went smoothly. Four minutes later, food was ready and presentation was 10/10. Made sure to clean up after myself after eating to not give the employees some extra work. I will only be coming to this burger king from now on. “I can’t believe I never knew this place existed!!! I grew up in the area eating homemade Peruvian food but never went to a chifa place. Huge portions. Their chaufa is immaculate, the pollo is tender, flavorful and not dry at all. Aji verde was good. The lomo is a little different than what I’m used to, but it was good. My friend loves it. Salsa criolla didn’t have vinegar or was super light on the vinegar which was different for me but still good. Alfajores are on point. Staff was very friendly. My friend told me that the owners are a Peruvian Chinese couple and that their son helps run the place too. Not a lot of seating so if you have a lot of people you wanna do take out. Next time I’m trying the wantan frito and seco de res (was sold out when I went). Support a local family business and check them out :)”

“Hidden gem! Located in an office complex oddly placed in a circle off Rt 34 in Wall. Live edge table tops, lots of living plants and tons of natural light fill the space. The food was all spot on and clearly reflects the skill of the kitchen. Hardly do you find a seared tuna sandwich that is simply seared! Most of our plates came with really crunchy house chips. The fries were seasoned and cooked well. No picture but the guacamole and chips was one of the best I have had outside of my home kitchen. Looking fwd to go back for breakfast. The home fries looked insanely good!”

“A Battello is a small boat often tied to larger boats and used to bring people back and forth from the shore. I’m not sure why this name was chosen and a lot of times I’ve passed their statue with the name under it and wondered what it was. I found out that it’s a real jewel on the Hudson in Jersey city. The first thing you’ll notice is that while the building itself looks small, the establishment is incredibly spacious, and well thought out. Very very clean. The staff is very courteous and professional. While sitting at the bar having a coffee I listen to the bar keep and a host discuss the wine, making sure it was chilled properly etc. very thoughtful. I liked that the customer doesn’t know that they’re working behind the scenes to make the moment nice. The view outside of Manhattan is incredible also and worth the visit if just to look at the skyline while having a Manhattan from the bar. It also looks like the beginning of some construction on a adjacent bit of land of which I’m hopeful it won’t obstruct the view. This is how a restaurant should be and I’ll write more when I have time to eat there.”

Also I will say, that I like hot & spicy foods but if you have someone who doesn't like it don't do the HOT broth even the mild was extremely HOT! Unfortunately to the point where you couldn't enjoy the rest of your meal due to burning your taste buds on that one broth! So my advice would be to do the not HOT broth, and and to your spice. I did that and it was a much more enjoyable meal. Luckily I hadn't put all my meal (noodles, meat, herbs and vegetables) in the HOT broth right away without testing it, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it.”
