“We've eaten in twice with different guests and it's been unanimous, the food is good! The owners run a relaxed place. The chef/owner and self described dish washer seated us both times. His daughter and self described indentured servant served us cheerfully. We appreciate that the cuisine is distinctively different - it's not Chinese, Thai, South Indian, Malaysian. Since it's different, just experiment The tea salad is a crunchy delight. The pork curry isn't a "curry" but braised chunks in a dry sauce. The 8 entrees we've tried have all been different.”

“I am going to give this place a 5 star rating and this review is long overdue. I had the pleasure of coming here for a late lunch yesterday and I am floored. I’m a former New Yorker and deeply miss the corned beef and pastrami sandwiches I use to get from Katz deli, until I came to Lox stock and Deli !! There was a young man who immediately took my order and made one of the best sandwiches I have had in years… the corned beef was perfectly cooked and very moist but not runny. There was a perfect balance of Cole slaw and horseradish sauce to accommodate every single bite. THIS IS THE ONLY place in Jersey in my area that I know makes these style sandwiches and now they have a lifer. Thank you to the staff for the prompt and effecient customer service. A huge debt of gratitude is owed to the young fella who made my sandwich and gave me a great overall experience.”

“I go to the diner when I have a hankering for soup. I ordered the open faced Reuben with fries. It came with coleslaw and pickle and my choice of soup. Split pea soup was sooooo good! I could taste something very delicious in there, maybe chicken stock? Maybe a mixture of carrots, onions, and celery? I don't know. I just know that I thoroughly enjoyed it and took the Reuben home for dinner. As soon as I came in they asked if I wanted a booth or a table. I said booth. This was a mistake because I'm a good 325 lbs and the table cannot be moved. Nevertheless I sat there and still enjoyed everything else. The busboy brought me two cups of water as soon as I sat down (probably thinking someone else was going to join me) for which I am forever thankful because I'm always thirsty! The coleslaw was sweet but a little watery for my taste. But the Reuben? Even cold and with the cheese a solid glob when I finally ate it later was delicious. A d can I just say the amount of thousand island dressing is just right? It came in a separate container so it didn't make the bread soggy. Good job kitchen! Top notch service too! I spent less than $20 for lunch, second lunch, and dinner (all one meal).”

Enjoyed a very tasty 3 Roll Lunch Special for $13.95....especially liked the sweet potato tempura roll and the eel and avacado roll. I tried the cheesesteak and chicken fajita panini. Only criticism I have is that fresh steak would have made the cheesesteak panini perfect. Both were pretty good and filling. The curly fries are seasoned nicely and crispy and lady at front counter is super helpful and friendly. She recommended I try a Gyro but I will next time. I’ll be back as everything looks delicious. They also do quite a few breakfast items. Only issue I had was they only do Turkey bacon. I like my bacon. Lots of seating and open space.”
