“Golden hues everywhere and the sculptures are magnificent. Short or long trails that can lead to trails along the Rio Grande.”

“Stopped by to get a run 🏃🏻♂️ in while passing through to CA. The park is big and one lap is about 1 mile. I was there between 830p-915pm and there were still plenty of people walking or playing in the open grass areas. There were also a couple of police cars in the area chatting it up, so I felt safe. Probably a better park to be in during the morning and afternoon, but served it purpose for me. Small parking lot for 10-15 cars, plus plenty of street parking.”

“This is a beautiful little park, lots of grass and open space, great for bringing pets to run around and burn off some energy!q”

“Nice clean open space - you can opt to loop the old airfield up front, stroll along the flat paths on either side of the irrigation ditch (many homes along this section are pretty fancy with horses, goats or llamas), or head down to the trail in the Bosque along the Rio Grande. Contrary to other reviewers’ reports there IS a Bosque trail. From the parking lot head straight across the paved section of the arroyo, cross the ditch path, and go down to the left (heading north). There is no river trail to the right (south). The river trail goes in a loop, part of which is wooded and part of which parallels the river more closely a with a couple of offshoots that will take you to the river itself. This is a really nice section of the Bosque, especially in the fall when you often can see lots of Sandhill cranes and Canadian geese. The trail is never crowded.”

“I live in the area of this amazing but totally under utilized park. There is so much potential for this park and especially for this area. The people are amazing and deserve so much more than what they currently experience or know. This park could use an upgrade and added benefits that I plan on advocating for...such as a skate park! So if you want to help me or know of some great ways to make this happen please hit me up!! 💖🙏”

“The servings are huge, so come hungry! The food was very flavorful and had a great presentation. I forgot to take pictures, though 🤦. The pistachio baklava was out of this world!”

“Very fun and interactive park, always pretty busy so definitely a great place to socialize while your kids play, the playground is a ton of fun for the kids. They have a huge dog park where your pets can run free in a gated area. They have a soccer field that is maintained. They usually have a guy with a cart on the weekends selling all kinds of snack so it's a great place all around for anyone. The only negative thing I have to say about it is people tend to litter too much so there is trash randomly throughout the park.”

“This park is excellent. It's got a ton of space and a great view. It's a great place to take your dog or go on a walk with some friends. I hate that they have soccer here though on the weekends. The kids always leave a ton of trash everywhere. There's a great deal of shade here though so it's a great summer park.”

“Pristine modern park situated in a pleasant residential area. Slides, climbing frames and rocking devices on a soft surface area suitable for toddlers and young children. Gazebo with tables and benches for al fresco dining, desirable mostly for shelter from the direct glare of the sun. Well managed surrounding lawn area for little ones to joyfully run around and play. All this in a setting which takes in the distant Sandia mountain range rounds of what is really a lovely place to spend a few fun hours !”

“you know this was the coolest park I never knew existed, it is kind of in a weird spot, and the access road is right next to a fire station, and it has a big parking lot, with room for horse trailers etc., but I have not yet seen a horse or anything other than dogs and kids running around here, which i am sure is fine, but it is still a place to come visit if you like Albuquerque's parks and hiking spots, its kind of private, with lots of nice houses around, but I am sure you don't wanna be there late at night as most parks do close”

“Awesome dog park! This dog park has plenty of room for big and small dogs alike. It has obstacles and challenge courses for training. A few benches well placed around the park to watch your dogs, this includes a gazebo. There is even a water fountain for the dogs at the North end of the park. There are two no leash required zones and one leash required zone, all are fenced in. Good place to socialize your dogs and meet awesome people within your community. Just be sure not to squeak a toy as others are trying to leave. All the dogs kinda come running toward ya. :)”

“Nice clean park. Showers and bathrooms clean and not old. The only concern I had were the huge curbs on either side of my site. I was worried pulling out my rear wheels would get clipped by the high curbs. I made it out ok but wonder who the curbs were there to help. May stay again with site selection. 45’ Class A”

There is also a nice little playground and a decent hiking trail. Just watch out for cactus! Definitely a good place if you just want to be out on a nice day and enjoy some beautiful Albuquerque skies. 😁”
