The atmosphere and the community is very close knit. Children do wear uniforms, which is nice because all the children feel as equals. Principal and vice principal are very friendly and approachable. “The last few miles is narrow and a little rough but most SUVs shouldn't have a problem getting there. I took my full size truck and left some pin-striping. They are there to remember good times. I lost the hiking trail a few times on the way up but my dog has a better sense of direction than I do, so I let her take the lead. Really nice hike. I've never been to an area like this so for me I found it awesome! Not a lot of people out when I went. I only ran into two couples out there. My dog enjoyed the hike off the leash but didn't appreciate the dozen or so thorns I had to pull out. The only wild life I saw was birds. I went on this hike at the end of January. No wind. A little chilly with clear skies. I did go later in the spring where the temperatures were pushing 90 plus. Bring plenty of water. I wouldn't recommend the hike during the summer months. I'll be back.”
