Center Square Barber Shop

If you are looking for a cheap haircut, don't come here. If you are looking for a top quality haircut this is the best spot in town. They don't try and stack up 5 appointments per hour like other places, instead they take their time and pay extreme attention to detail so you walk out looking better than you thought you could.

Went in not knowing what I wanted. Made an appointment with Dan and when I got there I said I don't have anything specific in mind, and somehow he gave me exactly what I was looking for. The prices are higher than I remember for barbershops (haven't been to one in about 20 years), but you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommend.

Dan is the man. Best cut I've ever received paired with some of the best barbershop chat I've had. I've visited many barbershops from cheap plaza chains to expensive NYC studios and none of them rank above Center Square. Highly recommend.

Dan and his team do an amazing job with this shop. Rachel has been cutting my hair for over four years. She does a really good job with fading and the cuts always looks great. And she’s also been cutting my kid’s hair since he was one year old! She’s very gentle and sweet with him. Rachel is super friendly and remembers conversations we’ve had months later. I just moved across the country to OR and will be really missing her haircuts! Take care Rachel and Dan!!

The owner was awesome! The place was very clean and organized and felt comfortable and safe. Got a really nice haircut for a good price. It is now my new local barbershop. I had read good things about this place online and it definitely was proof that the place is very welcoming and efficient. If you are new to the Capital Region or Albany and are looking for a new barber then I'd highly recommend check this place out. I would walk by this place often and wonder would they be able not only cut my hair but give my hair a nice shape. So kudos!
