“Popeye's vs Chick Fil A vs KFC. Popeyes all the way! Crispy, crunchy, not greasy, not to salty and the meat tender. If u r going anywhere in the US or if Popeyes is offered anywhere in CDN. GO to Popeyes. " Love that chicken from Popeyes"”

“What a wonderful experience, made reservations, was sat on time. Beautiful decor, perfect lighting. Our waitress was attentive, and polite. We started with the half loaf of bread with sauce, pasta fagoli, and meatballs, all delicious, and generous in size. I got the the linguine with clam sauce, it was exceptional. The cheesecake is an absolute must. Will definitely be returning!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed the food but the staff and appearance of the restaurant put us off a bit. We ordered quite a selection for lunch which turned out to be enough for dinner as well. Ordering online was easy enough and our meal was ready in a short amount of time. As mentioned above, it was the staff and restaurant that was a bit off. Our meal was packed in paper bags, plastic containers, and stuffed in a plastic bag. Based on all of that, I thought we would definitely be disappointed in our meal. However, the food was so good that it offset my initial impression. We ordered two (2) vegetable samosa as we were not sure how many came with each order; there were three per order for us. They were still warm, crispy, came with sauces, and had good flavor. Unlike some samosas I've had, these were completely filled with the potato and pea mixture. We shared the Aloo Chat which we thought was the best tasting dish with the mix of yogurt, tamarind, and mint sauce. Our soups were good but nothing fancy. We had the coconut soup which had quite a bit of fresh coconut but seemed light on the beshamel. The Mulligatawny soup was surprisingly a smooth bisque. We saved our entrees for dinner which were Chicken Dopayaza and Chicken Vindaloo. Both were good and flavorful with large chunks of tender chicken. I highly recommend the Dopayaza with its tangy tomato sauce. Don't let the appearance of the restaurant or the gruffness of the staff stop you from trying Jewel of India because their food is good!!”

“I ordered a golden whole chicken and rice cakes. This was my first visit. I’ve heard so much about the great chicken. I was not disappointed. Korean-style fried chicken isn’t greasy and it doesn’t include the same rubbery skin as American fried chicken. It’s so much better! The rice cakes were spicy and the fish cakes were definitely a bit fishy. They weren’t bad but the order was too big to finish. The staff was running behind on my order. For some reason, a lot of lunch orders came in at about 2pm. I think I waited about 10 minutes, but the staff was very nice and friendly. The food was well worth the wait. The restaurant is small but clean and cute. I can’t wait to try some of the spicy chicken dishes.”

“A great place to find specialty products, local treats, vegan options, bulk, gluten-free options, and high quality ingredients. I also do much of my regular grocery shopping here. Certain ingredients can be pricey, but I find prices on your run of the mill items to be comparable to other places. There are food items that I’ve become attached to that I can only find here.”

“Now this place is something very special. Vegan/vegetarian options, upscale atmosphere, down to earth and friendly staff. Food is absolutely amazing. A diamond in the rough. If you didn’t know it was there you would drive right past and you would be missing out! Love it more every time I go and I will be going again hopefully soon. Suggest the pasta which is homemade and delicious, mushroom meatballs, chicken franchise, pizza, and bruschetta! Nothing better than sitting down to fresh baked bread with a dish of parmigiana to sprinkle and some olive oil to start. I miss it already💖”

“I will say this, the pork fried rice went a long way. I kept it for weeks, did well in the summer. I had high hopes for every and was decent when I came to it. I don’t remember how, but it did work out very flavor. I think chicken be better choice and will do this every time. Listen to me it will only work if you swallow well no problems. Get drink.”

“I bought a 10-piece family meal, two 3-piece chicken combos, & a five piece ghost pepper wings. The cashier, was fun & engaging taking the order. We ate some of what I ordered in the restaurant, then, chatted with one of the employees, while she was on her break. She was very informative about Popeyes & very engaging inthe rest our conversation. I would definitely go back to that Popeyes Louisiana in Albany, New York as much as I would go back to the one on State Street in Springfield, Massachusetts.”

“This is a Spanish and Jamaican grocery store a quick stop place. The food here is excellent cooked well with great taste. Also cakes are baked here homemade not a box by scratch. People are Pleasant here when you check out and friendly too. I go there often.they have a lot of interesting drinks from different countries such as Jamaica and Puerto Rico and I go there often to get them. Such as Irish moss and Malta beer and ginger beer and they're good for you better than soda”

“SENSATIONAL. From the beginning, the staff was super friendly and attentive. The bread and oil was delicious and had a bit of a crunch and heat to it. We ordered two Peroni beers and they brought out chilled glasses for them (amazing). For start, our meals came with a soup or salad. I got a salad with the tomato basil dressing and it was THE BEST salad dressing I've ever had. He mentioned several other dressings and they all sounded home-made so this felt no different. My boyfriend got the soup of the day, which was a seafood chowder. I tried it and it was AMAZING. I'm not normally a chowder person, but this was nice and thin and creamy, not too thick. I got the lobster ravioli which was absolutely stellar. It tasted home made to me and I'm convinced it was. If not, they got it from the best distributor around. My boyfriend got the chicken francese and it was, to quote him, "twice as good as the best francese I've ever had". The place is very small, so reservations are definitely recommended. We won't be eating any other Italian place. This was amazing.”

“Herbie’s is a classic burger shop and it’s excellent! What they do, they do so well. It’s everything you want in a burger and fries. I love the burgers as well as the option to do vegan burgers, truly something for all. The best part, phenomenal milkshakes. It will make it hard to ever have another milkshake, they are that good. There’s a reason you’ll find a few locations in the capital region, people love them and you will to after trying them!”

“Is this place out of business? The Google Maps directions lead to an unsigned building with construction going on, and the phone number seems to be out of service.”

“If I had to define the place in two words: Amazingly Fresh! Amazing coffee ☕️, the best bagels 🥯, the best giant size cookies, and the healthiest available options! Try their Healthy Harvest Specialty Sandwich for $5.85: Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Cucumbers, Green Peppers, Sprouts, and Cream Cheese or Dressing. However, I recommend Hummus instead of Cream Cheese for a little extra cost. “This spot is our Vietnamese cuisine gem! Sadly, they’ve been closed for some time. The food is always delicious and consistent. They seat you as soon as you walk in. We even been accommodated for large parties (8+) persons. The place does need a cleaning as I’ve seen flies flying around, and it has a dingy appearance. The host and our waiter is so friendly and funny! He runs the floor by himself at times and we can see his stress but he handles it well.”

“The service was spot on and the food delicious, this not my first time eating food from Lost & Found, but it was my first time dining in. The Lost & Found is an inviting venue with a fun Mardi Gras decor theme, great specials (my husband loves his Shrimp Po' Boy). Highly recommend!”

“Visiting Albany today and stopped in for a meal before a show at the Egg. The bad: NOTHING. The good:chips and salsa. Yummy and lots. The fantastic: the frozen margs made me so happy! Slaw was tangy. Jerk pork was smokey sweet with huge portions and to die for! Service was friendly. Great local.”
