“I personally love this school since I attended also if you want your children to get the best education send them here since they except everyone. Also the behavioral system is a series on deductions from $3 $6 $9 $18 and direct perch/detention. You start each school day with $9 totaling to $45 a week but if your behavior is above and beyond you can earn $1 for your paycheck ($45+$1=$46). The average schools day is 7:30-5:00. There is also a huge school trip where currently fifth grade goes to New York City for 3 days and 2 nights, sixth goes to Philadelphia for the same time, both eighth and seventh go to Toronto Canada also for the same time all under teacher supervision. I have not covered all the rules but some of them and the rules might have been altered by time you read this. So to finish it off I definitely recommend you got go to this school.”

“It is obvious that Andrew is a master of his craft, and what's even more obvious is his patience, kindness and willingness to go the extra mile to be an extraordinary teacher. I have been a remote student with Andrew for several months now and I have since achieved musical goals quicker than I have in previous years combined. If you're looking for an amazing teacher and pleasant learning environment look no further.”

“Highly recommended! I have been an adult vocal student of Mimi's for almost 10 years and have thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She has extensive knowledge and expertise in the technical aspects of proper breathing, vocalization, singing and performance, encompassing all genres of music. Mimi tailors her instruction to her student's age, goals, learning style and music preferences. Mimi's instruction and coaching helped me to develop my vocal sound, expand my vocal range and expression, and gain confidence in my performances (solo/choir). Mimi enhanced my life long joy of singing while maintaining that balance of instructor, coach, accompanist, cheerleader and friend. Mimi is the perfect vocal instructor for all of your vocal needs.”

“I attended the New York City campus located at 25 Broadway. My experience at Mildred Elley was a pleasurable one. I had the opportunity of meeting some real knowledgeable professors and other faculty staff. Mr. Farrington, Mrs. Angella, just to name a few. From the start everyone was involved making the transaction a smooth one. Financial Aide staff were awesome! Very polite, open and knowledgeable. Classroom settings were comfortable, where everyone could get help and attention from the professor. For clinicals, we had some of the very best clinical professors who made sure we grasp as much information as possible. They took the time to explain procedures and challenged us along the way. To prepare us for NCLEX, we were provided with books which were paid for through financial aide; ATI first then we switched to Kaplan. Free classes were provided for anyone interested. I was wonderful! I appreciated everything. Career Services helped us to prepare resumes, cover letters, and prep for interviews! They help us with job search and placements also. Even though I didn't get a job through them, they helped others who were placed. Like ever school there are ups and downs, nothing serious. But if you have a goal and set the standards and your priorities right you will definitely make it. Read ahead of class by following your syllabus and study hard! I really wish they did the RN program, I'd definitely be in the front! I passed my NCLEX on the first attempt with 75 questions! Thanks Mildred Elley! Graduated June 2012!”

“I attended way back in the early to mid 80s when it was called Junior College of Albany... absolutely loved my experience here. I've been at the same profession for almost 30 years and have had a prosperous and exciting life, mostly due to the phenomenal education I received here. I'm very glad I attended when I did. I have so many really great memories. I would not want to attend today, with all these offended snowflakes.”

“The beginning of the year I purposed in my heart and mind to learn how to swim. Ashley has been such a beautiful instructor. As an adult learning how to swim it was a bit intimidating in my own mind. But Ashley really set me at ease and pushed me to go to new levels each time we met. She explained each step before I engaged in the actual swimming movements. Very patient and mindful of my daily activities that effect my capacity to perform in the lesson. Ashley thank you 🙏🏾!”
