“This was my first experience at Shaker Violin. Steve was exceedingly generous and helpful and repaired my father’s cello. It was immediately obvious that Steve is very passionate about his work and took time to explain the reason he picked a certain method and tools for the repair to be done. As a bonus Steve took interest in a possible fix for cracks in my classical guitar and invited my to bring the instrument over. After assessing the nature of the crack I agreed with his suggestion to stabilize the crack. Needless to say I highly recommend Steve for any violin/cello repair. He far exceeded my expectations!
