High Falls Conservation Area

Lovely hike in the off season. Trees are beautiful. Saw lots of families and young kids on the trail. Dogs on leashes. Even nicer in the hot summer.

The weather was amazing plus the it’s about 40 mins walking from the parking to the waterfall. My family and I sat there for 4 hrs and the water was soothing. Very peaceful. Highly recommended, it’s about 2 hrs drive from Bronx.

Holy COW! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! Never before seen waterfall incomprehensible the size of the falls! Mere photos and videos do no justice in there enormity! Kid friendly easy walking trails highly recommended!

Very beautiful place to visit, the trails are very gentle and easy to do.
It's an all family activity and the waterfalls are so pretty.
Bring some water or something to share with your family while you are looking at this amazing waterfall

This is a great shorter walk with a lot of variety. At the end you are rewarded with a great view of the waterfall. Along the way there are options for elevation changes if you want to go down to the river. It's not a long walk, but it's a fun place to go for you and your kids or for a nice outing date with your partner. Probably a pretty busy spot in the spring and summer and the falls are probably even better during the thaw. Really enjoyed this one.
