“A wonderful taxi service. On time, polite and very courteous. They brought me to the eye center on Green St. When I was finished with my procedure they returned to bring me home. I can not say enough of good things about this service. No more uber for me.”

“I haven't visited Alterniverse since they moved to Hyde Park but I hope to stop by again soon. Anthony is probably one of the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He's always willing to share his knowledge and assist anyone who needs assistance and does it all with a genuine smile. I hope the business is flourishing and I still recall the great times from my previous visit.”

“The Hyde Park drive- in is the oldest of two operating in the area. Like its sister theatre the "overlook drive - in " they show the latest movie releases. Both theatres have digital projection and sound. The Hyde Park drive - in is showing it's age, but its still a nice place to relax. My wife and I usually get dinner from the snack bar. My personal feeling the snack bar is better at the overlook. I want both drive - ins to stay in operation that's why I go to their snack bars. The monies made there belongs to the theatre. Which ever drive - in you choose I'm sure you'll have a good time. For bigger movie releases I strongly suggest going early so you can get your favorite parking spot. ENJOY THE SHOW!”

“Currently taking stained glass lessons from Sandra and I can't express how happy I am with her. Technique, safety, and processes are gone over until you're comfortable with each step. She is wonderful to learn from and I highly recommend her to anyone who would like to try stained glass.”

“Absolutely the very BEST & ONLY scuba diving company to choose in the entire Hudson Valley Area. The owner's are so nice, friendly and helpful. They really make you feel comfortable, especially if you are new like me! They also have the state of art equipment & gear! This is why I will always highly recommend going to Dutchess Scuba Diving, LLC! Thank you Chris/Your Friend, Sarah P/Skyline Publishing/2019-2020 Greene County's Resource Guide Magazine! 5 Stars*****”

“I would highly recommend this store. The gentleman at the desk could not have been nicer. He helped me to figure out how to get my package to where it needed to go at the least expensive rate and the quickest route. He was very knowledgeable and professional. While at the same time being friendly. It is so nice to see that there are still nice people in our area that are willing to go above and beyond and help their customers.”

“This place deserves a 10 star. AMAZING food, perfectly cooked meats, balanced flavors for all three courses. Outstanding pricing for such good food ($59 for three course dinner!). Waiters/students are so adorable, their diligence is reflected with the service we got today. I'd like to shout out especially to the main courses. We ordered the maple leaf duck breast, beef short ribs, and market fish. The meats were cooked to such perfection, it was astounding that students made them (well, of course under the instructions of a well known chef, but still surprising). The temperature spread across the meat, the tenderness, the timing, all resulted in meats that were neither overcooked nor undercooked, not even slightly. Flavors were also on point, and there's always something on the plate to counterbalance the main flavor (for example, the sourness of the veggies complements the sweet and savory duck so well). Just wow. And can we talk about how adorable the waiters/waitresses are (all are supposedly CIA students, so around 18-22 years old?). Some of their actions are slower and feel more inexperienced than the typically older waitresses at high end restaurants, but the way they gently put down the plates/ sets the bread, and how a waiter confused the direction of the utensils and then briskly walked back to reset them, add such satisfactory details to this dining experience. It's cool to not just eat and enjoy, but witness the students LEARN through cooking and serving each customer.”

“On Friday September 20, 2019 I was driving back to the hotel from FDR and I noticed the road sign indicating an historic train station. I slowly drove down the hill and found it by the tracks facing the river. Unfortunately for me the station was closed at the time I was there. It is wonderful that this historic landmark has been preserved. Nearby is a small boat launch.”

“Store is clean and well organized with a variety of items. Prices were reasonable with some great sales going on! Loved the toy section that had items I remember from my childhood. Also had a very nice selection of higher end shoes/boots for reasonable prices. Management was friendly and helpful - We'll definitely shop here again.”

“Had an excellent experience with Hudson Valley Chimney. We had the fireplace in our new home inspected and cleaned. The technician, William M, was very thorough - which made us feel very secure. He talked us through everything he was doing and let us watch the camera inspection. We felt very confident in his assessment. Highly recommend this company. Setting up the appointment was easy, every single person was so friendly and helpful! I also appreciated that they send you a photo of the technician that will be coming to your home so you know that you are letting the right person in. We will for sure be using them again in the future!”

“I was shopping for a new pipe for the first time in 25 years. I specified a pipe under $50 if possible without much hope of finding one. Both clerks provided excellent suggestions, and they also educated me about devices in my and other price ranges. It was an excellent shopping experience!”

“I love the new digital format! Very exciting. It gives you the freedom to read Living City virtually anywhere. I found this issue on addiction extremely interesting and timely. Most of us know someone, perhaps even in our own families, who suffers from addiction. It is as common as the flu, yet it is a taboo subject even now. This issue will shed light on this mysterious and baffling affliction and give encouragement both to those who are trying to achieve sobriety as well as to family members who suffer as much or more than the addict. Thank you, Living City, for venturing into a challenging and sensitive topic.”

“The River Connection and Marshall epitomize what’s great and the importance of local independently owned specialty stores. It’s true of so many industries and certainly with kayaking. Having someone as knowledgeable as Marshall to take the time to guide you through your purchase of a kayak, a paddle, a PFD, or other accessories and safety gear is invaluable. Adding the ability to get on the water and try the gear out also makes a huge difference. I am customer for life and strongly recommend that you reach out to Marshall and make a trip to The River Connection if you are looking to buy a kayak or kayak gear.”

“My experience was amazing here and I would recommend to anyone looking for laser tattoo removal. I set up my consultation and brought my 9 month old with me, they explained the process and then went over pricing with me and told me i could even do my first session the same day. so we went ahead but my daughter couldn’t be in the treatment room so the nice gentleman at the front desk offered to hold her for me while i went ahead with the treatment. i came back and they both were smiling ear to ear. such a welcoming business! thanks again, im looking forward to continuing this removal process with removal of hyde park”
