My family and I have been in Beacon for many years and the staff at Libby’s Funeral Home has been there for us each time we've had to say good-bye to a loved one. The care and compassion they show to each family goes above and beyond. They care for your loved one with so much dignity and respect and ensure the family is looked after. They specialize in all types of services from the most private to large family viewings and funeral church services. I cannot express my appreciation for all the love, support and guidance provided by the staff at Libby’s, especially Funeral Assistant, Joe Schuka. He truly pours his heart and soul into each service and for each family. He has become part of our family and we are forever grateful. They have also done a great job with the renovations; the space is so peaceful and well appointed. I cannot recommend Libby’s enough. One thing has not changed from when Mr. Harrison Libby owned and operated the funeral home and that is compassion and care. “This was a perfect place for a break away from NYC. So easy to get to via the metro north line and Jim’s accommodation is only short and inexpensive Uber ride away from the train station in beacon (less than ten minutes). Jim’s gorgeous property is located on the foothills of mt beacon we took the nearest trail from his location the notch trail and hiked for about 4 hours using the maps he provided. The property is peaceful and so pretty. Loads of outdoor seating area to relax and look out at the view of the surrounding woodland. My boyfriend and I both slept wonderfully (gotta love the sound of silence) comfortable and quaint rooms. We will be back again, Jim was a very welcoming host thank you.”
