“Lupine and Lead is a gem of a store tucked away in Alden. Kaylee has curated some amazing items and you can't go in without wanting one of almost everything. She also has really cute events for different holidays. I brought my daughters for Galentine's Day at the shop. She took our picture in front of a backdrop she had made and emailed them to us after. She has cute giveaways at her events and amazing snacks and coffee. So far, I have only mentioned the shop. Kaylee's real talent lies in all the services she offers. She takes excellent photos, whether it is senior portraits, family photos, weddings or special events. She has an eye for design and specializes in interior design. Her graphic design and hand lettering is second to none. She designed my business logo and I am very happy with it. She has made different hand lettered signs for my home, and labels for my products. I love it all!”

“I absolutely love this store. They have LOTS of women’s clothes that are brand new from Target for 1/3 of the price. I love to thrift but never buy bras, shoes, or pajamas second hand so it’s wonderful that I finally found a store where prices are fair and I can stock up on what my family needs. They also have cute seasonal decor and odds and ends (I found gummy vitamins my daughter takes here for half the price)! The one male clerk is so friendly too. It is a true joy to shop here and is worth the short drive.”

The teachers are committed to a level excellence that I never would have expected. It is admittedly a small town, but this is not a small town education. They strive to give them a comprehensive learning experience, complete with foreign language and keeping them all up to speed on current educational standards--the level of detail and individual attention is superb. Mr. Lyons sets the tone of the school where every student truly does matter, and I see it in the faces of these wonderfully progressing students. He remembers EVERYONE. I have a younger one starting pre-k next September and I look forward to being a part of this community for years yet. Such a gem!”

“Significantly overpriced goods. Staff take advantage of the 2a market for all of NYS with excessively marked up goods, and they make it known to their customers that they prefer LEO. I've seen them many times at shows, and I don't understand why they go out of their way to do that. That said, I have been out to their physical business location several times and they have been mostly pleasant in those interactions. Unfortunately there aren't many options for 2a out this way.”
