“We have now been to Roost several times. Every time we return the menu is different and every plate we order is delicious. Our evening started with several appetizers for the table. We ordered the burrata, the broccoli pancakes, and there Korean wings. All three had amazing flavor and were enjoyed by everyone in our party. For our main course, two of us split the fig and prosciutto pizza, one had the mole ribs, and I had the green curry with clams and pork belly. Yet again every plate was amazing. Cooked perfectly, plated well, and tasted wonderful. Roost is highly recommended.”

It offers practically something for everyone's tastes. Don't forget about the Cheesecake either! “Easily in my top three best pizza joints in buffalo. The pizza is top notch, and their prices are super low considering the quality of ingredients. Always consistent too. My favorite is their chicken finger pizza (normal cheese pizza with red sauce, but with chunks of barbecue chicken fingers on top)— best I’ve ever had. They also look out for their community and have donated a ton of money to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center to support their cutting edge research. The owner is really friendly too! Can’t say enough about this place— highly recommend!”

“Honestly, I don't know anything about the current Papa Joe's -- I have lived in New York City for 45 years and haven't even visited Buffalo in 13 years --- but Papa Joe's is important to me because it once belonged to my grandfather, who established a bar there. I don't know exactly when it was established, but it was already in operation in 1910 and he owned it through Prohibition, and passed away in 1935. My father was actually born upstairs - over 100 years ago! The bar has been in operation, under various ownership, for more than 100 years!! That's something, I think! I grew up on Randolph Ave. Will definitely stop by on my upcoming visit (whenever that will be, I don't know but I am planning to go "home" some time soon.)”
