“Lupine and Lead is a gem of a store tucked away in Alden. Kaylee has curated some amazing items and you can't go in without wanting one of almost everything. She also has really cute events for different holidays. I brought my daughters for Galentine's Day at the shop. She took our picture in front of a backdrop she had made and emailed them to us after. She has cute giveaways at her events and amazing snacks and coffee. So far, I have only mentioned the shop. Kaylee's real talent lies in all the services she offers. She takes excellent photos, whether it is senior portraits, family photos, weddings or special events. She has an eye for design and specializes in interior design. Her graphic design and hand lettering is second to none. She designed my business logo and I am very happy with it. She has made different hand lettered signs for my home, and labels for my products. I love it all!”

“Edit: it's been a couple months since I posted the review below and the three piercings I had done have been the most difficult piercings to heal in my entire life, and I have several. Regardless of whose fault it may be, I don't think I will be returning to this shop because these piercings (lobe and rook, but the lobes are faring much worse) just will not heal no matter what, and I have not had this experience with getting more difficult piercings (septum, industrial, lip; difficult when compared to the lobe piercings) to heal when pierced at another shop. Overall, I had a really good experience with James, the piercer. He was very professional and he is clearly very good at what he does. The shop is very clean, and he opened up the needle and jewelry right in front of me. I did feel as if it was a little rushed, but I did go on a BOGO sale day, so the speed at which my service was performed might have been a little faster than usual, as there were a lot of people waiting to get things done. One thing I felt was a little strange was that he did not give any sort of aftercare paperwork. I have many piercings myself so I don't really need it, but I'm sure there are many people who are getting piercings done for the first time and don't know how to care for them. He did give verbal instructions, which was enough for me, but I know some people like to have written paperwork. He told me to come back and downsize no earlier than the 14th of next month, but I'll probably wait a little longer because I actually liked what he pierced me with and I'm content with a long barbell. He also didn't tell me what the gauge of the needle was he pierced me with, I had to ask him afterwards so I know what jewelry to change it out with months down the road, but again, it was pretty busy in there. I did see a negative comment on here about him calling girls "sweetie", and if you find that offensive or demoralizing, I suggest not going, but in my opinion he does not mean that in a derogatory way, it's just like women calling you honey or something like that. He's very appropriate and I feel safe with him; I would go again.”

Recently Connie designed beautiful ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ themed bridal shower favors for me.
