“Picked up Thanksgiving meal. Ordering was easy. Got a confirmation call the day before pick up. Got there on time, pulled up to door, they place the 2 bags in my car for me. Thank you. Got home with a hot meal. Bottom line everything was great. Mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes and squash all very good. The turkey was sliced nice and very tasty. The gravy was great. “I have read a lot of reviews here, and the negative ones make it seems like I'm reading about a hospital in an alternate reality. I have been to this hospital many times and have never had anything but great care there. It's very clean, the hospital staff is caring and helpful, the doctors and nurses that I have been associated with have been amazing. They treat you like you're family. Yes, you sometimes have to wait at the emergency room, but that's the way it is at all hospitals, in my experience. We are so luck to have a small local hospital in our area that has caring, quality doctors, nurses, and staff. They have been working hard in the last several years to bring in specialists so we don't have to go to Buffalo. As far as the review about the emergency room not letting anyone go in with their loved one, I have never seen that. Their rule is to let one person go in with each patient. I have personally experienced that several times at all times of day and night. They have even let two people go in on occasion. When the emergency room doctor had to give me the news that my mom was terminal, he let my husband come in also to help me cope with such bad news. Long live Bertrand Chaffee Hospital!”
