“Loved it one of the best woody open private feeling state parks o have been to in a long time. Must of the sites look huge and have tons of room for you. All and all we really enjoyed this park Ave we will for sure find away back to it.”

“Attended the woman’s retreat and amazing landscape. Owner puts her love and heart in the campground and it shows my first mining experience. Absolutely loved it Found some great pieces from my collection.”

“We spent 3 nights at Caroga Lake. They have a great staff who really care about the well kept campground. One shower house; very clean. All toilet houses are very clean. Sites are of varying sizes, but mostly small (a tent or two and an EZ-Up over the table. Fire pits are cleaned out after each reservation leaves. the surface is gravel. The beach is small. Drawbacks: Water spigots are hard to find in the woods. Only one shower house, so if you're far away from it, it's an uphill hike. The general store across from camp is really a sandwich/pizza shop. The wood we bought there was wet and wouldn't burn properly (not a ding against the campground, but just sayin'). There is zero cell service at this campground. Whether that's a plus or minus is up to you.”

“We had a wonderful stay in one of the cabins. It's was cozy and had a rustic feel with all the modern amenities. Everything you would need for a comfortable experience is there! We loved being able to use the kayaks and paddleboats and spending the day by the lake. Dave and Cherie were amazing hosts and super accommodating. We absolutely cannot wait to come back! Definitely recommend!”

“I came here as a kid in the 90s and early 2000s, came back again as a seasonal camper in 2019 and it just keeps getting better. There is always something for the kids to do; between the awesome playground, beach, weekly kids’ activities and crafts, BINGO, hayrides, bands, seasonal picnic, Christmas, Halloween, Haunted House, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, bonfire for Ring of Fire , etc. We always have so much fun! Super affordable weekend sights and seasonal camp sites. On calm days, you can launch your kayak or canoe at the boat launch. You can also launch your boat or jet ski at the private boat launch. I highly recommend Birch Haven!”

“My family and I had the pleasure of spending one night under the stars at Glampful. The tent was so spacious and very clean. The decor created a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was super comfy! A special shout out to Mrs. Cavanna. Thanks for making our experience a memorable one. We can't wait to come back next summer!”

“Beautiful little campground. Mostly seasonal, but well kept. Short term sites do not have sewer, but the dump station is convenient for big rigs. We stopped here a couple nights to visit friends as we drove through the area, but it's also a great spot an hour from Cooperstown. It's a winding climb to the campground, but worth the trip even if it is just for the ice-cream. We would stay here again if we are ever back to the area.”
