Very nice area. Its worth a stop and if you have time hike some of the trails.

Beautiful way to get in touch with nature and read about our fowels.

We did not see an eagle there, but there was a lot of birds. I feel there could be more seating. I guess most people sit in their car. But if you want to get out and enjoy the weather, it's pretty limited on places to sit.

**Please turn off your headlights when sitting in the lot because wildlife can see the flashing LEDs even if you can not.**

This is a great place to watch migrating waterfowl from. The Eagles are mostly active 2 hours around sunrise and sunset. Their nest is about half a mile nearly straight out from the parking lot but they come closer to feed. 8x binoculars are about the minimum 12x or more is recommended. Pictures below are my phone through 12x binoculars at about 400 feet.
