“Pros: I was craving a banh mi sandwich - came upon this place saw they had sardine sandwich got it and fell in love. The BREAD is so fresh its like it just came out of the oven so soft and buttery, I use to the bread on the hard side from other places I dine. Other than that the filling was typical bahmi filling. A mixed of vinegar sweet and spicy I also had their typical milk tea with tapioca, same as milk tea you'll find in China. Simple. Tapioca perfectly large soaked not hard Con: I asked for the make spicy but it was lacking, I wish they threw some jalapeños in it with extra cilantro and veggies”

“Came here for a traditional Polish lunch, and left so, so satisfied. My fav were the Zéberka (Spare ribs) -- they were cooked perfectly. I also loved the potato pancakes with the goulash (Placek Po Węgiersku?). ALSO: try the seasonal beet soup. It's served cold, and was so refreshing on the hot day. I'll be back, many, many times!”

“Stopped here yesterday on a whim with my bestfriend yesterday. It was a great day outside and the have a great outdoor space. Our server Barbara was wayyyy beyond amazing, engaging and hilarious. I'll visit again just to see her. But honestly the fooodddd it took a lil bit to come out but it's because EVERYTHING is so fresh! I had the salmon with a parmesan cheese sauce, spinach, jollof and a pitcher of mango mimosa. My best friend had the red snapper, jollof and a side salad that she loved. Can't wait to visit at night! I recommend 10/10! P.S. you get a beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge!”

Fresh made tortillas in the cart is such a killer touch and elevates the already awesome other ingredients to another level. Al pastor is my favorite, but the carnitas is great too. Great burritos, and the tacos are super unique (rolled almost into a cone for easy eating) and delicious! Would recommend to anyone in the area for lunch, dinner or a late snack! Super friendly service, and if you don't have cash you can pay via Venmo to avoid credit card fees. Don't believe any negative reviews you see - this place is the real deal.”

“This place food is very good. The shrimp orders I have placed in the past, have all been very good and cleaned out. In other words, no shrimp poop in their veins. That's a good thing because I have been or have ordered shrimp from other restaurants that have not been cleaned out. Now that's nasty to have that on your plate ready to put in your mouth. At home we don't order from any other place around. Plus the food is good prices, not over priced like some restaurant around them. We have tried other places but after we found this restaurant, we have only ordered from them due to the good quality food. Their lunch specials are very plentiful with the amount of food you get. Their combinations orders are good for two people to share with an appetizers.”

“We did our little wedding dinner at Faun about a week ago and I want to say thank you so so much! It was exactly what I imagined it to be with the very intimate and comfy atmosphere - inside and outside with their cute backyard. It was our first time there and we made the right choice. The staff was amazing! So kind and caring putting in so much effort to make it a special but warm evening for us. The food was excellent. We decided to do their prix fixe format and had plenty of leftovers to take home. All of our guests loved the food but were almost full after the second course. I cannot recommend Faun enough and we're definitely going to come back!”

Whenever the owner sees me or if I call she knows exactly what I want and she doesn't make me purchase a certain amount of food in order to receive delivery. The only thing I don't really care for is when I order my broccoli with garlic sauce, it doesn't taste like garlic sauce to me it tastes like some type of sweet red pepper flakes sauce. It's still good though just not what I expect garlic sauce like.”

“I think this is a great quick lunch spot! Their food is on the cheaper side, especially for their location. I always get the pan fried dumplings over the steamed/ boil, I feel like there’s just more flavor! Their noodle dishes are super filling and they give a good amount. “This review and images are based on orders from 2 different days. Some of the reviews I read of this restaurant almost diverted me from placing my first order, but Im glad I didn't bc their baleadas and pupusas are awesome. Yes, there will be a wait on orders you place for pick-up or delivery, especially on busy days/times (think Fridays & Saturdays). My first order was placed for a Saturday night's dinner, I asked how long the wait would be and the person who took my order had an accurate estimate of the waiting period. The wait was a long but I agreed to it, he was efficient and straightforward. From what I've tried-Baleadas sencillas are great. Pupusas de queso y mixtas, are also great. Pollo con tajadas; I appreciated to be asked if I wanted my tajadas thick or thin, that was unexpected, specially after reading a handful of reviews about their customer service. The chicken thigh was juicy, however, the chicken leg was slightly undercooked, enough for me to not finish eating it. If you are a manager/owner reading this, a meat thermometer can easily prevent this from happening, losing customers and more importantly avoiding food poisoning! -☆ Over the phone and in person two different people took my orders, both were placed with no trouble, except for meeting the minimum requirement for delivery, I live a bit far but once I increased my total they were kind to deliver. Will give the pollo con tajadas a second try just in case the day I called the restaurant was saturated with orders and will adjust/update rating thereafter. What I noticed from my second order and what consisted of first visit to the restaurant, everything is made to order, they sale home-cooked style meals, do keep this in mind and order before getting hAngry. I wanted to make sure I included this in my review bc some people seem to be expecting fast food from here and many have left harsh comments as if the pandemic hasn't taught many of us to be kind-er, people are making your meals in a kitchen not machines at a food factory.”

“This place is brilliant. The owner knows what's important: love. You get an easy-going and comfortable entrance. The staff are so kind. You can taste the care put into their food. I ordered the BBQ Bacon burger and Sweet Potato waffle fries. What a combination! The juicy, flavorful burger topped with crispy bacon. The diversity in flavors was impeccable, each bite unique but consistent. And don't get me started about those fries....Sweet Potatoes, Cinnamon, Sugar. Must I say more? All this paired with outdoor seating with some quality people watching🔆 I had to go back in and get a smoothie to enjoy on my walk back home through Prospect Park. By far my most enjoyable experience in Brooklyn. I say this with ease: get over to American Vegan ASAP. You won't regret it.”
