“I was a little nervous starting therapy because it's something I had never done before and I've heard so many stories about it not being helpful. It is hard to find a therapist who is the right match for you sometimes. However, I could not be happier with my experience at Talking Works with Rose. She has truly been so helpful and understanding. She goes above and beyond for her patients. Rose truly cares about each and every one of her patients and I could not be more grateful to have her as my therapist. I have been lucky in my experience with Rose to have found the right therapist my first try.”

“I can't say enough good things about Paul's Bonsai Of Brooklyn. If you're looking to make your first bonsai purchase online it can be a nerve racking experience. Most if not all other dealers will post generic pictures of their trees. Not with Paul. The tree in the picture is the tree you get. Consistently and Carefully photographed in the same location next to a measuring wall. Some even have a short video with a 360 view! Great variety of tree species, pots, soil, supplies and most importantly excellent customer service. Paul is genuinely a hobbiest first and a merchant second.”

“I just happened to be in this corner of Brooklyn for a customer meeting and had a hankering for some Caribbean food. This place exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent! Curry goat was flavorful and spicy, rice and peas perfect, plantains amazing and the pickled cabbage wonderful. Excellent price point for no frills take-out. Staff was warm and friendly with the Caribbean hospitality I would expect. This is definitely a new favorite when I pass through the neighborhood.”

“My son (and so do I)loves visiting the Brooklyn magic shop! Both Daniel and Diana are extremely friendly and welcoming! Whether it is to attend one of their awesome day camps or to just visit the shop and buy some new trick equipment. Daniel makes sure that he understands how to work on the trick. The camp is wonderful! Every time he comes back home he has lots of new tricks to show me. I highly recommend this lovely little hole in the wall whether you need a safe and fun place for your kids to learn about magic on their day off from school or you or your child want to learn a new trick.”

“Cindy was an absolute lifesaver for us. We had zero experience going through the process of importing/customs and she really helped walk us through the steps and make sure our cargo made it safely to our door. Every other company we called in the NJ/NY area brushed us off but Cindy really made us feel like our business mattered. We're a whole lot less averse to the whole import process now and know who we're coming back to next time around. Thanks again!”

“One of the better Malaysian food restaurants I’ve tried. This place serves as a great lunch spot. I went on a Sunday afternoon with a party of five and there was surprisingly only one person there. It’s a decent-sized place that can fit around 5-10 parties without feeling too packed. We got two appetizers to start: the Curry Puffs (comes in 3 pcs) & the Satay Tofu (comes in 6 pcs). I thought the Curry Puffs here were one of the best ones I’ve tried since the outer puff itself wasn’t too thick or crunchy and was more on the soft side. The curry filling was also perfect to match the puff. I rarely come across a curry puff that suits my tastebuds so this was a pleasant surprise. The Satay Tofu was also good with the tofu being a good size for bites. The Satay was as I’d like for this, but I do wish the flavor was more seeped into the tofu. I think they just laid the sauce on top so there wasn’t much flavor on the inside of the tofu itself. For our main dishes, we got the Hokkien Mee (my typical go-to), Claypot Fish Curry and the Salted Egg Prawn Chow Fun. The Hokkien Mee was solid so would recommend. I’ve never gotten the Claypot Fish Curry anywhere before, but my friend wanted to try and I’d say it was a good choice. The curry was good, but the fish fillet did taste a bit fake due to the outer coating on it. I think it might’ve been better without it. I do not recommend getting the Salted Egg Prawn Chow Fun thought cause it’s rather basic and as it says. It’s just some slightly salted egg flavored prawns on top of chow fun. I guess it’s good that it’s as it says, but it didn’t add much value to our meal. I think due to the prawns being slightly saltier, we felt the chow fun had no taste. Overall, would recommend this place for anyone wanting to try Malaysian food around the area. Price is also fairly cheap and on the lower end compared to other restaurants in general.”

“Outstanding Fast Service I took my car for an oil change at the auto shop only took 10 min instantly, but they saved me a lot of time but just waiting at the front garage entrance. A technician will ask you of specific type of engine oil by select one either Convention or Synthetic. I will do business with them again.”

“The price and quality here cannot be beat. My family gets our white bread here!!! I also love their sponge cake-- fluffy, light and tasty. Just right for our palette. The owner of this bakery is so sweet and pleasant and I really appreciate that they keep their prices low especially as 8 Ave is getting increasingly expensive.”

“We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is professional, responsive and attentive. The hotel is well located. However, the breakfast included is too poor, it would be necessary to add at least fruits and eggs. And the hotel should be more demanding and firm concerning some customers who make noise late at night and smoke.”

“Dr. S. Pinkusovich is my PCP for last 20 years. Last year I moved to Pennsylvania but I did not change my doctor despite 3 hours travel time one way. Doctor is very much attentive to all details of my health and order all tests needed to review my health status every year. I am very grateful for her timely made diagnosis of life threatening disease my wife has. This on time diagnosis just saved her life.”
