“Delicious Asian (American style) take-out. We needed a break from Italian and bar fare so tried Merry Land and wasn’t disappointed! Even at 10pm the food was cooked fresh to order and the staff very friendly. We ordered cold sesame noodles, butterfly bacon shrimp and crispy orange beef. Since our bill was over $42 we had a nice surprise of a complimentary choice of crab rangoon, dumplings or pork fried rice. Went with dumplings and my gosh, what a serving, 7 plump and juicy dumplings. All in all a tasty last vacation meal with leftovers for plane ride home!”

“One of our favorite Italian delis and pizza places, which burned down a while back. They just reopened at this new address 2 weeks ago. Their meats and deli selections are superb. My wife and I shared a margherita pizza which was excellent for an electric oven pizza. The crust is crispy and chewy in just the right places. Great sweet sauce with fresh mozzarella and large basil leaves. The selection of steaks and chops is high end. They will be reopening their original location on Park Ave some time in 2022, which featured a wood burning oven that produced a larger oval and slightly thicker crust pizza that had that bit of extra flavor from the wood fire. Most people won't notice the difference and it's worth the ride for their 17" round pie. Google maps still only shows their old location and lists it as temporarily closed. If you click through to their website you will find the new address. The current shop is much smaller with only 1 or 2 small tables, so you may want to consider take out. We got lucky today and got a seat. The owners are friendly and enthusiastic and you can tell they truly love what they do. Highly recommended.”

“Another good dinner from the Panda. There are a lot of good Chinese restaurants in Long Beach, this is one of my favorites. I called for delivery and Jaden answered. I went through an order with all kinds of changes to menu items because my kids are picky and I'm trying to cut down on sodium. He gave me some cool suggestions and it worked out. Keep in mind some of these dishes were modified a bit (some ingredients were left out or replaced with other ones). But here's what we got tonight and it was good. Orange Beef Gyoza dumplings Chow Mei fun Hot and sour soup *homemade iced tea - tastes real good, loaded with sugar Tip: put some of the Mei fun noodles in the hot and sour soup, tasty.”

“I have been wanting to come here for awhile and after seeing beard meats food came here it reminded me to come here. The place has a cool atmosphere and although it was in the afternoon the service was friendly and attentive. The pulled pork was perfect moist and nicely smoky in flavor and our appetizer of nachos was plentiful and very good with pieces of tender smoked beef mixed into it. Very nice neighborhood, the only knock is I couldn’t find beard’s picture on the wall of fame.”

“I’ve got to say, this place has it down to a science! I needed a place to watch the rangers games so I started looking around for good spots to watch and when I saw the duck on the Rangers site it was a no brainer. The food and drinks were exactly what I was looking for. The menu looked so good we ordered the Ducking everything and it was EVERYTHING. Highly recommend trying it. The server staff was extremely accommodating and the manager of the place Geoff came around and made sure we were doing alright - our conversations felt almost like I knew him my whole life. Can’t wait to come back this summer with my friends!!”

Salmon, lamb, General Taos chicken, steak, eggplant, shrimp cocktail, tomato/Mozzarella, Caesar salad, omelette station, French toast, seasoned potatoes, and amazing amazing desserts- cheese cake, carrot cake, chocolate cake, black-and-white cookies, rainbow cookies and fudge squares ! The decor was beautiful. The mirrors gave everyone a great view of the ocean. Mimosas were perfect a balance of champagne and orange juice. Starbucks coffee!! Definitely recommend !!”
