“New York is quickly becoming one of my favorite food cities. I caught this place on my way out of Long Island and they didn't disappoint. Well, a little because I came for the Rasta Pasta and they weren't selling it that day. Nonetheless, I ordered the oxtails and they were so tender and well seasoned. I wish I had more time to try the rest of their menu but I had a flight to catch. Their price was higher than Jamaican Dutch Pot but good food is good food. It was a great sized portion as well. Long Island has been good to me. I will be back.”

“Leaving the airport with food on the brain. We decided on Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood. Greeted by the manager, informed him that we wanted to place a to-go order, he was kind enough to offer us a table. He took the time to explain the specials and asked if we had questions. That was great customer service! The atmosphere was chill with really cool Halloween decorations, the music was good, the to-go order taker’s service needs improvement but the food… the Catfish & Cod Baskets with Cajun fries were delicious🤩. Great value for the money. There’s a full bar that gives off a sports bar vibe, ample seating in the dining room and lots of parking. Highly recommend!”

“Food is usually very good. I always ask for no garlic bc some cooks put too much. This restaurant will accommodate anything you ask for within reason. I ask for my rice darker brown for hubby and they are hospitalized to oblige. I ask for no onions and add scallions instead, no problem. Lomein, rice and sweet and sour chicken are the best. Chicken and broccoli with snow peas added is so yummy. Wonderful staff and owners.”
