“SUMMARY: This has become my go- to Chinese food spot. Great flavor, well sauced, generous portions, great rice ratio, and consistent food. FOOD: The food always tastes fresh, I never feel like it's stale or reheated. The flavors are strong, you definitely taste a difference from dish to dish. Nothing is bland. The rice is well fluffed and perfectly cooked. Not mushy and not hard. Their wonton soup specifically is awesome. The wonton are thin, not dense or doughy, and the filling is always juicy. At other spots, I usually don't drink the broth because it feels heavy, but this one is clear and flavorful. My only criticism would be sometimes there's a sloppy dice on the veggies and you'll get a gigantic piece of a bell pepper or onion, but I promise you won't care because it's delicious anyway. PRICE: Right in line with everything else in the area. Portions are great size. SERVICE: Disclaimer, I did not base my review on friendliness as some people do. Luckily however, the staff is as great as the food. Genuinely great service. I've been ordering from here and other places for about 5 years before writing this review and I can honestly only recommend this spot and one other in my area. There's never an attitude on the phone. They've never messed up an order. The delivery time has always been acceptable. I've called and made changes after ordering and they've always accommodated happily.”

“Would have never been on my list of places to go. Hidden area near park and nothing pretty on the outside. Decided to try it last night with family for my son’s birthday because I heard the food was good. Well….. what an amazing experience!! Food was excellent as was our waiter. Octopus Bronzino osabuco T-bone steak all delicious. Waiter even offered us all a complimentary after dinner drink. Will definitely be back”

“Are you looking for somewhere to go on a Friday or Saturday night. I'm talking about a place where you can eat drink and have fun. I'm talking about a place where the beer flows like wine, where the men & women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano! I'm talking about a little place called Sals Place! This local spot has been serving the community of N.Massapequa for many years. The menu offers alot of great options and one of them is the Steak Tidbit sandwich. Topped with melted mozzarella on a open faced garlic bread that was nice and soft and still had a good crunch to it and make no mistake about it the star of this sandwich is the Steak. For those who aren't familiar with Hanger steak back in the old days it was nicknamed butcher steak because it was loved so much by them they didn't want to sell it to their customers, they wanted to hang on to their steak! If you go to Sals Place I highly recommend the Tidbit sandwich its a great portion too. The only mistake I made was leaving half my sandwich unattended when I came back from the bathroom my wife ate the rest of it. I looked at her disgusted and said you really shouldn't eat my steak sandwich my mother ate my steak sandwich once.............ONCE!!!”

“WOW...I had to roll myself out of the BBQ spot. Every piece of food was so good I just couldn't stop eating! Big meaty wings, tasty onion rings, and nachos loaded to the brim. The chopped brisket had a lot of sauce on it, but was definitely good. Highly recommend if you're looking for a BBQ joint in the Massapequa area.”

“I stopped in for a quick lunch to go. On thr recommendation of the lady behind the counter I got thr chorizo burrito. And it did not disappoint. I watched her make it and my mouth was drooling before I even got it. She wasnt shy with any of the ingredients. When I got home I immediately ate the entire thing. I almost forgot to take a picture but I snapped one pic before i ate the entire thing. I was thinking i would have half for lunch and half for dinner but that didnt work out. It was hot, gooey (as a cheesy burrito lile this should be), salty in the best way and filling. And the bits that fell out of the burrito and landed on the bed of chips inside the dish were the crunchy bonus i didnt know i really wanted until i ate that 1st bit. I even gave my copy of the menu to a friend the same day. Ive already recommended this place and will definitely be back!”

The food is to die for. It’s so delicious and there’s so much of it. Don’t be fooled, this isn’t a silly, NYC overpriced “fine” Italian restaurant. This was made for everyone. The prices are perfectly matched for the portion size. You think it’s too much? You’ll be taking some food home for a few days. Don’t you worry. It’s worth every penny. The Chinese Chicken is top notch. I had to put that out there before I note anything else. We started with La Parma salads which were a nice, light opener. Then we got the Brussels sprouts, calamari, Chinese chicken, salmon, and a pasta with broccoli. I won’t even try to explain it. It was all so good. Go for yourself and understand why this is such an incredible institution.”

“Incredibly friendly, welcoming atmosphere. They did a beautiful job renovating this place! I wish I had taken some pictures of my slices, they were perfect. We ordered three slices all together, one Sicilian, one cheese, one pepperoni, each equally as amazing. The owner was so low key and easy going, he did not rush us out and even let us try out some of their delicious garlic knots and let us pay after eating. I will be back as much as possible. They even have the old cash register from the old Levittown store out on display! #Nostalgia”

“Best sushi on the south shore. They just opened up after being closed for a few years and the food is fantastic. Very picky when it comes to sushi because its important the place is clean and observes clean prep practices. That's just as important as the food quality. Will not hesitate to keep coming here. They get crowded and its much smaller than previous location but I find it actually works better the space for the owners who are really engaged with the customers.”
