“Just checked out the best comedy club in town and I've gotta say, I was cracking up the whole time! I've been to a few other comedy clubs where I only understood about 60-70% of the jokes (I’m not a local, nor a native Eng speaker), but this one had universal humor that was hilarious. 10/10 recommend!”

“Mariana SAVED my nails after years of going to quick, cheap manicure places in the neighborhood. The kokoist gel is so much less harsh on your nails, and it last seriously forever. I've gone 5 weeks on one service before, no joke. Mariana is a sweet, hilarious, extremely talented artist (because "nail tech" doesn't cover what this wizard of a woman does). She's knowledgeable about nail health and teaches you healthy habits to keep them looking and feeling great. She gave me these special nails for my birthday - these are my NATURAL NAILS. They're so strong and *knock on wood* they haven't broken yet even with being so long! All this to say: book your nails with Mariana, she is a true gem. I hope I'll be trying some of the spa's facials one day as well, all of the staff are so friendly!”

“Extremely knowledgable and professional. I would recommend him to anyone, and I will return in the future for appraisals. My engagement ring is an antique heirloom, which I needed appraised for insurance purposes (and which also needed a repair). Later, at the request of my antique repair shop I had the ring certified. Comparing the AGL certified report, Robert was spot on with his appraisal, and he even matched the country of origin based on the color of the sapphire (also confirmed by AGL), and year of manufacture (for me, ca. 1905).”

“The owner here is very attentive and kind! She helped me punch holes into my belt that I needed done and it was finished right then and there. Efficient and attention to detail. I’ll be bringing my laundry here from now on!”

“Rustie is an expert. His work was spectacular, restoring life to a rare music book and keeping its original elements. The stitching, binding and precision were well worth it. He is a true artisan and wonderful gentleman.”

“We were appealed by the adorable exterior of El Churro when we were driving on 1st Ave and decided to give it a try since we are fans of churros. When we visited Barcelona in 2019, we had churros and porras every day as breakfast. We miss it so much and haven't found a spot serving competitive version here in NYC yet. We got an order of 5 Churros, Dark Chocolate Dip and 2 cups of Latte to share between two of us. The portion was great enough with a reasonable price and the taste was decent. It was fried freshly and served warm. It's perfect to go with dark chocolate dip, soft and satisfying inside with crunchy layer. However, we expect the texture to be much more fluffy and hope it will be improved.”

“Dr Feldshuh is a caring and compassionate psychiatrist with a wealth of experience who saved my life after experiencing abuse and trauma as a child. In his sessions, he is able to explore with you how the mind relates events in the present to those from the past. Additionally, you learn life coping skills to better understand current feelings and thoughts on your own.”

“I love a good workout class when I’m out of town! Hit up RUMBLE! The mix between floor (weights) and bags…was perfect. The instructor was great and the music was on point! Burned almost 800 calories. Well done! Make a stop.”

“I haven't sought help from the Public Advocate's office in many years, but my several experiences with them has always been very helpful. For example, when I had a solid complaint about a health insurance company, it always resulted in a positive response from the insurer within a week, with an apology and a check in the proper amount. If I had a problem with a city agency, the Public Advocate was very appropriately helpful. I will write an update about the result I get with my current problem. I'm confident that the Public Advocate will be helpful.”

“An Upper East side gem. Food is quite good (v nice build-your-own cheese plates) and besides many South African wines they have great cocktails. Always very friendly service too!”

“As a vendor in the Event Décor space to have a successful execution of an event, you must have a partner (client) who is fully immersed in the project. The Eventique team offers a standard that guarantees a flawless program. The vision articulated is clear, and the support is constant. It is clear to Eventique that one cannot succeed without the other. This is a truly professional organization who deserves every bit of trust that they are given by their clients. My recommendation is without hesitation as I offer my full endorsement.”

“Good event space with amazing views. The only downfall is the security. Not everyone was unpleasant, but very first guy walking in (stocky round guy) was unnecessarily yelling and being rude and I encountered another guy that was just very rude and lied about what was happening at the event to get people to leave. If Above the Heights monitors these reviews, please talk to security who happened to be working any events on 5/11/23. Truly so unpleasant.”

“I’ve been waiting to visit here for a long time. I felt it was worth the hype. I had a macchiato. The espresso was very good. Not too bitter, a touch of sharpness tempered by the milk. Well done folks. It was lightly busy. All the tables were full, but I had just enough patience to wait, and one opened up. It was a great little place to chill. Music definitely didn’t fit the vibe. But not a deal breaker.”

“Nothing short of AMAZING! So comfy and cozy! Loved the communal dining atmosphere. Couple that with food that hugs your soul for the perfect dining experience. I would go back any day of the week for any item on the menu. I left speechless, happy with a full belly and a happy soul.”
