“My son Timmy, who is now 8, has been taking fencing lessons here for the last year, and he has had a great experience. He loves to come to practice, and has had the opportunity to fence in a few tournaments. As a parent, it's really fun to see him learn to enjoy the sport and get better. All of the coaches have been very supportive and encouraging. My son has had one-on-one lessons primarily with Coach Melvin Rodriguez who has been great - his love both for teaching and fencing are really evident when he is working with the kids. Lastly, one bonus which I didn't anticipate, is that I've really enjoyed getting to know the other families of the kids who fence at TMFC. As a parent who didn't fence himself, and whose child is just starting out, the parents whose children are more advanced have been great about showing us the ropes and explaining how things work, and the whole community has been very friendly and supportive.”

“A nice clean hotel in the wall street district. Service was good except that I could not charge items to my room. A lovely terrace with exceptional views of Manhattan. My last evening was a bit noisy by surrounding guests, otherwise it was a great stay.”

“Modest decor but fresh and tasty food. A new experience for the palate to have Indian flavors in a Nepali blend. The chili chicken mono’s were great and the tandoori chicken was quite a different, busy tasty, experience. The hot pot (stew) was good as well. All in all, it was a great lunch that was reasonably priced.”

“It’s a hole-in-the wall type walk-in spot with some pretty darn good jerk chicken on the cheap. Rice is nothing I’d majorly brag about but certainly not bad either—all-in-all, if you have a hankering for some basic staple Jamaican or Caribbean-style food and you don’t need to dine in but just carry out, I’d give them a try. They’re open fairly late and the service is quick. It’s tasty and easy on the wallet too.”

“Overall very reliable and tasty food. Though they can be a bit cheap with the meat. Ordered a scallop and garlic dish and it was mostly (80 percent) vegetables with only 6 or 7 pieces of scallops. Though it was very tasty. Place is very clean and service is quick and friendly.”

“The service is very good here. The aid treated me with care and compassion. Sherife my advocate is wonderful. She always came to my room to talk to me. She made me feel safe. I will truly miss her. My therapy here was wonderful. It was a young guy with a low cut hair. He is wonderful too. I am now walking much better thanks to him”

“Good spot for Austrian, German food. The food is great. However, a little pricy for what you get - the schnitzels are very expensive (they are just meat cutlet). It has pub vibes and the service is good. I would recommend trying it! Beef goulash was my favourite.”

“Amazing! The tempura here is so good. You get a tray of side dishes and then get served pieces as they are cooked. The shrimp was my favorite, and the uni wrapped in seaweed (additional $20) + dipped in the salt was delicious. The service is A+ quality. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the overall dining experience and the lunch was very reasonably priced at ~$55 for the set menu. Would definitely come back.”

“Chess Max Academy has been an incredible experience for my son and my family. MY son is 8 yrs old and has been attending for close to a year. He is taking group lessons on Saturdays and 1on1 lessons on Sundays. Max and his team are extremely caring and focused on the student's growth in both chess and life skills. I have seen tremendous growth in my son's chess skills and his confidence in applying new strategies. The staff are incredibly talented and passionate when it comes to teaching chess. Mr. Surfi, in particular, has done an incredible job of helping my son make leaps and bounds in his chess playing ability. He employed incredible patience and care to see that my son made it through his self doubt and frustrations. We had such an enjoyable experience that we are most likely going to sign our 5yr old son up to the same curriculum. I could not be more emphatic in my recommendation for Chess Max. It is a great experience for the parents, and especially for the children. It doesn't matter what your level is when you start, you will see real improvement. Just Amazing. 5 Starts.”

“Very nice place close to the subway on the UWS. I called the shop with some questions and they answered right away and were very helpful. Went in the next day and they were very friendly and helpful in person as well. Daniel helped me take a look at a designer bag i bought online and verify its authenticity. I didnt buy anything at the pawn shop, but it looked like their prices were very good (jewelry, electronics, cameras, signed artwork, guitars).”
