“Overall these guys are great. Professional and nice. Place is conveniently located in HK and is clean and has an ATM. My haircut and fade is always spot on with little instruction. I've seen them with kids and they handle that well. Gay friendly and family friendly. I get my hair cut all around the world cuz I travel a lot and it's always butchered but these guys always fix it. I don't know, I feel pretty good always going there. - Barbers are friendly, very skilled, fast, and have a high attention to detail - Has a casual "your neighborhood barber" feeling to it - Has convenient amenities including an ATM, beverages, candy, bathroom, and usually a movie in the background. - Best fades I have ever received. - Prices are fair and service is good - Place is clean and friendly - Absolutely love the online booking capability.”

“My all time favorite for summer months. They have the most beautiful outdoor, you get the view of the Empire State. And they are very accessible from the train. We paid $580 for 11 people, so it’s kinda economical. The food is so good, especially the appetizers. For vegetarians I’d say they don’t have many options in entree, we literally ordered everything in the menu. I’ve been there a few times. They have very few cocktails more wine. I’d say read the menu before you go if you are a picky eater or drinker”

“Great selection of fish and seafood. The raw bar platter is huge and fresh and a great value to share as a starter with some friends. The fish we ordered was so succulent and just perfectly cooked. It cut like butter and was melt in your mouth delicious. Great selection of wines too, and the bread and olives to start was on point.”

“This is one of the few lumber places still in LES which will do precision cuts. Employees works with you on specifics, so this is good for artists and galleries in the area. They have honest prices too, and the time they spend made me feel like it's money well spent. The lumber isn't high quality, and the knowledge isn't more than you could get spending an hour online, but the turnaround and help both with a project and reference of other good stores in LES is lovely.”

“Sent my rubber sole Prada loafers to be resoled. They did an amazing job and the polish and coloring of the shoes make them look brand new. Super happy with them and love the quality and craftsmanship of their work. Thank you so much! Will be sending more of my shoes your way from the West Coast! Check out the before and after shots!! 🔥🔥🔥”

“I love this place. It's the only place I'll get my eyebrows done. I've never done anything else, but I trust the women here with my LIFE. I used to come regularly, when I worked on 1st and St. Mark's. Then I moved to working at 2nd and 21st, but I'd still pop in, hopping off the six for a quick threading before work. Then the pandemic happened, and I started working in South Brooklyn and was left to my own devices. I noticed that my brows had an arch problem (like a nasty old man), and I thought, "I need to get this fixed," and damn if she didn't fix that today. Without judgement. Without comment! I was in the chair for much longer than I used to, but no one indicated that it's what you get for waiting three years to get your brows done. The space is sparse but it's clean. It's immaculate. They're back after a brief relocation, and I'll be back in the new year for another threading.”

“It's a good layout. You gotta go through a metal detector but that's true of a lot of the city and federal buildings in that area. After that there are several floors of really accessible New York City services, parking, finance, and regulation, there's a lot of stuff here.”

“Great food, service, and ambiance. Went for dinner and tried escargot for the first time. Very good if you are an adventurous eater then give it a try. Loved the ravioli, lamb, salmon, potato leek soup (it was the soup of the day) and profiteroles.”

“Very authentic feel and taste. I would definitely come back. Non alcoholic drinks (happy tea, Dough)were unique and tasty. Potato curry was good especially with the added hot sauce. Long grain rice seems to be the base for all the plates and it very tasty on its own.”

“The Philatelic Foundation was established in New York City just after the end of World War II. It's main function is educational, to both promote the educational aspects of stamp collecting and to protect the hobby by offering authentication services to collectors and dealers. The Philatelic Foundation has occasionally offered seminars about one or another aspects of philately. They also have published a number of books which have been very well received.”

“Founded in 1945 as Congregation Kehilath Jacob and renamed the Carlebach Shul in honor of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, zt"l, known worldwide as "the singing Rabbi." Very beautiful aron kodesh and synagogue. Photos can be seen in the book, "Ten Times Chai: 180 Orthodox Synagogues of New York City."”

“Quite pleased with the fast and great service here! Richard was excellent and was very methodical throughout. He took my initial suggestions perfectly and was able to execute a great haircut. I will definitely com here again for him! Unfortunately, Mario doesn’t work here anymore. I know he was another great barber here.”

“Went for lunch at around 1pm. It was not crowded at all. The hostess sat us promptly and table service was just as quick. Our waiter was great- he answered all of my questions and seamlessly rattled off all the dishes, ingredients and recommendations. We had the salmon, swordfish sandwich, red snapper ceviche and the octopus and mozzarella- which was deliciously salted with lemon (my new favorite appetizer.) we did not have desert but next time I will as I now regret not trying the blood orange custard. My fork fell on the floor and within seconds I was brought a new one. Great service, atmosphere, location and staff. Will definitely return. My only issue was the espresso flavor could have been a little richer. Great experience!”

The bathroom was even cute! so glad we found such a lovely place and have such a great experience. will definitely share and tell people to visit. 🤍🌸 it was great to support a Ukrainian establishment as well during this time 🇺🇦🤍”

“I appreciate that they don’t approve all manuscripts as a hybrid book publisher. Some of the other book publishers in NYC accept everything and anyone who can pay and I feel like there’s a conflict of interest there. Manhattan Book Group Publishers legitimately cares about the content they put out.”

“Beautiful grand cathedral! It's hard to appreciate the size of the building until you are inside it. Standing next to the columns reminded me of standing next to a giant tree. The architecture and stained glass throughout were incredible as was the artwork and carvings. I think there is a guided tour available but we just paid $5 each to walk through on our own. A large section is under renovation but there's still plenty to see.”

“Pet Aqua is a great place to buy a goldfish or resources for a fish. Upstairs, there is a wide array of things like tanks and decorations, (as well as a parrot that can stay stuff). Down stairs there is a tourist with is named George from my memory and he is a legend. Anyway, there are lovebirds downs status and an interesting array of fish. Recommended!”

“Wonderful curriculum and wonderful teachers. It would be better if the parents of the children followed the teachings of Rudolph Steiner at home when it comes to movies, television and play. To many parents just want a private upper east side school next to Central Park and could care less about anthroposophy and Waldorf education.”

“The holiday shops were nice to visit. Great places to pick up gifts for family and friends or a little something for yourself. They've got clothing, candles, holiday decor, fragrances, jewelry, pet themed socks, and a host of other items. There are several places to grab a bite to eat. We tried the menu from the Chinese, Indian, and Mexican restaurants and everything was delicious. You can get a small bite from each restaurant if you want to give them all a try or you can get full meals, whatever your preference. There are enough options for everyone to get what they want and places where you can all sit together and chat. The holiday bar was also nice and located next to the skate rink. Plenty of places to sit with friends. It rained when we went and because the shops are inside most were open when we got there in the evening. So this place is a good market to visit rain or shine. The park is about a 5 minute walk from Grand Central Station and is convenient to get to.”
