(June 8, 2023, 2:39 pm)History at it’s finest. We enjoyed several hours at this fort. We took the advice of the front desk attendant to watch the video prior to the self guided tour. It was great information and brought more life to the fort as we toured. We also had the opportunity to watch a musket demonstration and gain some insight on fighting techniques during the time the fort was active. The grounds are beautiful and the preservation of the buildings were meticulously restored as well as currently being restored when we were there. I recommend this for anyone interested in history and learning more about the importance of Old Fort Niagara.

(August 28, 2018, 10:19 pm)If you want to see how army men used to live , where they used to sleep, eat how marching was done what is the meaning of drums then you must visit this place. Keep your camera ready. Morning and evening you will get good photo composition. Keep at least 2 hours to see everything.
