“I used to hate going to the dentist. Not because I fear pain, but because each time I went I would receive a lengthy lecture about brushing and flossing -- with the subtext that I wasn't doing it enough/properly -- and I'd walk out feeling like crap. As much as I tried, I'd be criticized. Finally, I have found a dental group that doesn't make me dread every visit. As a matter of fact, I enjoy the visit. They compliment me on the care I take, and the dentist even goes so far as to say that my previous dental work is excellent. (Yes, I had lots of cavities as a small child. As the fillings deteriorated, I had caps to replace them. I've spent thousands ensuring that I keep my teeth -- and even went so far as to have braces as an adult when my teeth began to shift.) What my husband also noticed about this dental group is that they don't push you to have unnecessary procedures. In our previous city, they were always trying to add things that either weren't needed ($2000 to "tighten" my gums). This dentist tells you what you may need in the future, but assures you that it isn't necessary now. Thus, I will be able to trust him completely when he finally says, "We ought to do it now." If you dread your dentist because you're tired of being chastised even when you know you're doing everything you should, this is the place for you. They're honest, do a great job cleaning your teeth, and you walk out feeling very happy about the entire experience.”

Thankful to Rite Aid The lady who gives needles needs to be a bit more explanatory and friendly. Especially to children. That's it both times I went, it was roll up your sleeve, needle, and left. I had to say am I finished? She said yes as she was walking away. Very cold. I left saying I hope children are not treated like this because they are usually fearful of needles. Anyways all in all it's really awesome experience.”

“The absolute BEST facility for alcohol and drug recovery I have ever experienced. Heather and the staff all around the building are actual hero’s. I’ve been clean from my d.o.c. for almost 2 years and lemme tell ya, I owe my life to horizons and Heather. If you can open your mind and listen to what they have to say, even for just 1 hour, you will see that there are kind and empathetic people ready to rally around you and embrace you. 6 months in to outpatient treatment I promise you, your counselor will seem like family. They can be your sword and shield so that when it comes time to FIGHT this disease, you won’t be completely helpless, alone, and in immense pain. That’s If you LET them in, and you CHOOSE a life worth living rather than putting poison through your body. Anyway, I would definitely recommend Horizons!”

“Dr. Robert Jenkins is a highly skilled Dentist. He pretty much does it all. I have been a patient for a couple of years. I have definitely have had my issues with my teeth but every time he has helped me through. Root canal, extractions, problems with past dentistry from others. Recently I had some bonding done by him. I can't tell you how beautiful my front teeth are! One had moved back a couple had jagged edges, they look amazing honestly! He gave me my smile back. He had also bonding on my daughters front tooth, beautiful! I'd say that's his expertise but, he does it all! Bonding, he's a magician!”
