“We were invited by our very good friends to join them for dinner at the Chateau. Our drive was over an hour and worth every minute. The service and food was exceptional. I had duck and it was perfect. I'm used to a breast filet; this is served as a complete roasted half and it was cooked perfectly. My wife had rack of lamb and again better than expected. We will return in a few weeks to try other entrees that we were told were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for service, food and ambiance. I should mention the acoustic guitarist that made the occasion a few points higher.”

“Love Henry’s as a breakfast & lunch stop due to the best counter women and chef who are efficient and likeable. Prices and decor are 1951 but the food is wholesome and very reasonable (coffee, eggs, home fries, toast and meat $7.00-8.00. Lottery, newspapers, counter or booth seating, lot’s of room to park. The chef is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and you can immediately realize this as she puts to use her amazing classically taught skills and flavors. And it really doesnt do it justice to think of this as a pie place. All of the food is brilliant especially the soups and savory items on the menu. Today my wife and I shared the special pot pie (smoked turkey and bacon with stuffing) which was simply delicious. I highly reccomend checking this place out often!”

“Great bar restaurant venue right on the lake. Beautiful views of the lake, great interior design. Staff very friendly. Food was good and interesting enough to not be 'pub grub' but they had all the staples of pub food. We went with five teens (who sat at thier own table) and three adults. We all enjoyed what we ordered and there was something for everyone (from picky kids to picky adults). The only complaint was that they added the 18% tip and didn't mention it. On the credit card statement the suggested tip was on the whole bill which already had 18% added to it. You had to read the detail bill to see the tip was already added. In addition they put the 18% on the single adult meal on a separate check (they were the ones to point it out to me).”
