We went on a Saturday morning walking tour of Underground Railroad sites which ended up at the Hart-Cluett Museum. Were so impressed with the great information and history storytelling that we ended up adding on a tour of the Hart-Cluett Mansion, which was also fascinating. Kudos to our tour guides Andrew and Kathy. A very educational and inspiring day.
Excellent! Christmas Greens tour was fabulous. Always worthwhile to tour throughout the year.
The research library there is great for local history, especially the photo collection
It was a very nice experience with the historical memorabilias about "Uncle Sam" and the past history of the Troy city
One of Troy, New York's finest and most historical landmarks!! The architecture inside is truly one of a kind and the marble that is laid out, is also in itself, very historic and lovely! The house is open to the public the 2nd Saturday of the month at 2pm for a guided tour, May through December. Tours are also available by prior appointment. 2nd Saturday tours are $10.00 for adults. If you have some free time, don't pass the chance up to see this historic and beautiful attraction!! These guides really know their stuff and are very knowledgeable about the district of Troy as well! Snap some photos and you'll have them forever!! Don't miss this!
