They delivered my daughter 6 months ago, she’s my second child and my first experience with our first midwife for the birth of our son was a very difficult and a disillusioning experience! Although my husband and I knew we wanted to have another homebirth, we were weary of the process. Happily I can say that Heidi and Maureen changed our feelings and gave us a wonderful experience with the birth of our daughter! They were supportive, kind and knowledgeable. We chose to be as minimal as possible with testing and scans, which they supported completely but they always gave me all of the information needed to make an informed educated decision! They were available night and day, always happy to help as needed or even just to chat it out with an exhausted pregnant mom of a toddler! I miss our appointments and the time with them, I hole heartedly recommend HeartSpace Midwifery!”

“A friendly, cozy, small-town church that truly puts the principles of Jesus' teachings into practice. For example, they don't TALK about loving their neighbors, they DO it. As a small example, just this weekend, they went around the neighborhood around the church picking up trash. Everyone is friendly and NOT judgemental. The Pastor preaches in an informal manner from the Bible. He doesn't just read a verse and that's the last time he mentions the Word. Instead, the Bible is the center of every message he gives. As far as appearances and comfort go, the church as comfortable chairs instead of pews and a welcoming foyer with comfortable seating. Also, the worship area is air conditioned.”

“Wow wow wow, this is some of the best food in the capital region, and the servers are thankfully knowledgeable about what options are vegan and gluten-free (of which so many items are). It’s a cute little intimate space, which we loved besides our closer proximity to an annoying child watching a loud handheld screen, and everyone who worked there was super sweet. The food itself was incredible. The crispy tofu tasted like a pastry, the vegetable fresh rolls were exceptional, and the vegan Burmese soup was so good. I got the tofu curry, which came with a gravy that really burst with flavor. I was honestly already full from how generous the appetizers had been. My partner got the tofu poke bowl, which was beautiful and delicious.”
