“Quaint, romantic accommodations, bed and breakfast. Building is over 200 years old! Private bathroom. Shared kitchen with continental breakfast. Fantastic breakfast and lunch buffet on Sunday! Lovely gardens and gazebos. The staff is wonderful...would definitely stay again!”

“I really love this place. I love the way the 2nd level of rooms, where I stayed, has a really nice green carpet that goes all the way down; that's the very first thing I noticed and was so glad that I was given a room on the second level. One could almost imagine living in some quaint village as cute as this place is. The bathroom is very nice as is the bedroom, with its glass mirrors at the headboard. The bathroom has just a shower stall, but its great that it has a stand to place soap. I hope to be able to stay here again.”

“Stopped in with a question about a letter I received. Lana went above and beyond to help me even though she was not my assigned agent. She was willing to make sure my issue was resolved and followed up immediately. If you are looking for an agent I would reccomend giving her a call or stopping in.”

“The staff are great and the rooms are always clean and its comfy. You sometimes can see deer and other woodland creatures from your window but don't worry there's a fence so they can't get into your room. There's a woodland area you can walk through back there and see the deer grazing. On the other side of that it's like another time. This lodge has recently been on the last season of the television series of "Ray Donovan" So if you're looking to rest in a good affordable place with good staff come on by!”

“I am going to start by saying we will go back here. However, I think they were experiencing some problems. When we arrived they had blowers drying out floors in the lobby. Granted they also had some cleaner smell (Fabuloso ?) that you could smell through out the hotel. At first I didn’t mind but when we were in the room on the 3 rd floor we could still smell it very strongly until the middle of the night. Also, be aware this hotel is under construction. Looks like it is half done. That didn’t matter to us because we were not using the hotel for anything but a night to move my son into school. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. All in all a good stay.”

“Friendly staff, room was clean, with a good size. Bathroom was spacious and nice. Restaurant had good food--I recommend the Buffalo Wings! Employees were friendly. The shuttle was unavailable for the weekend but it wasn't a bad trip taking a lyft to the ferry. Would recommend!”

“The staff were the best. The rooms comfortable but on the small side. Quiet. Extra bonus was free shuttle to Staten Island Ferry. Parking was limited I think because of a bit of construction in the back.”

“I definitely recommend this preschool! All teachers are there as mothers for children. They really care about all children. This is a very clean preschool, which is very important. My daughter loved to go there. Every morning she ran there with a smile on her face. She went to Miss Daniel and Miss Nicole group, they are just perfect teachers, thanks to them. And I want to express my special gratitude to gorgeous Miss Vicki which is the main person there. She has a wonderful personality, children and parents love her. Thank you! Believe me you can trust your children to these people. A "Wonder Year" remains forever in our hearts! With respect and gratitude Anna and Vita.”

“Nice, New York City beach. Good vibe, safe. Family friendly, garbage in the water around high tide. Still a be good view of the ocean... no crowds or ridiculousness when I was there.”

“Rooms are really small, almost like they lost the other half of them. Def not worth the $200 plus per night they charge. I'm giving this a good rating due to the staff. They are fabulous. Hard working, friendly people that made my stay here worth it. I hope Comfort Inn appreciates them and I also hope they will build rooms bigger.”

“Cute and cozy little motel. Garage parking means single covered garage under your room for convenience. Cookies for the pooch and people was an added bonus. Front desk at check in and out was very friendly. Definitely will have to return when bringing our dog.”

“I have lived at St. Mark's Inn for 9 months now and I love it here. In resposne to Michelle Mattesons review: I knew the Mattesons and believed that Michelle was also happy here until a business disagreement between her husband and Mrs. Liebertz. I am shocked by the personal nature of the remarks in her review. As for the review by "tayo awodumila", neither I nor the owner of St. Marks know who he or she is or when they supposedly stayed here, the name is obviously fictitious. But the accusations are totally false. I would encourage anyone who is interested to come and see the house for themselves and meet Mrs. Liebertz. As I've said, I have lived here nearly a year and I am very happy here as are other residents. It's a lovely place and a great neighborhood. These reviews are very unfair.”
