“Pretty cool little hide away. Nice little fake beach. There was a nice view of the river and the marsh. Best to go in the early morning because the sun goes down over the mountain in the afternoon. They have a nice kiddie pool for the wee ones and live music after 7 on the weekends. The food looked good but we didn't order anything. Kind of expensive on the weekend. Overall it is a really cool place for the area.”

“If you have FRIENDLY OFF-LEASH-OK dogs, you will love Tackamack. Its beautiful and highly likely that you will meet at least, one other off-leash and friendly dog. Occasionally you do run into someone who's brought their not-so-friendly, must-always-be-leashes dog on the trails, but its rare.”

“Its big with varied terrain. No special surfacing so parts get muddy after rain. Water for dogs. No special yard for small dog. No human amenities. Gets shaded by Pallisades in late afternoon. Parking should be done on main street, not neighborhood side street (abutters complain if you do). All in all I think its one of the better parks around.”
