“Amazing spot for those trying to explore outdoor climbing for the first time. Plenty of options for top roping, sport climbing, and bouldering. There's also a lot of greeneries if you wanted to have a picnic in between and plenty of hikes to try out. Highly recommend this place to anyone trying to explore outdoor climbing and from NYC! PS: there's also a few camping places nearby by like Sabago Cabins for if you wanted to do a weekend trip.”

“Great park, recently renovated with additional jungle gym. Swings, slides, picnic table. Often crowded with religious families but plenty of room. Nice rock path around the pond. It also has 2 off shoots that loop back around. A good place for walking, running, bringing the dog, bringing the family”

“Was raining the day we went hiking . I do not recommend if you do not have the right gear as it does become very slippery. The trail we took was steep and had lots of loose soil and rocks. The surprise lake was shrouded in fog but it was rather eerily pretty to look at. Also make sure you are physically fit to do the hike . Some light weight training and loads of cardio should help. Enjoy and good luck!”
