Compliments To the Chef

Love the store and have shopped there many times.
However, I just tried to go to on a Sunday, when the hours indicate it is open until 3pm, and it was closed when I arrived at about 2:50pm. So, just double check hours before you go ( fortunately, I live close by, so was able to walk there)

They have a nice selection, reasonably priced, I've been there a few times with my 15 year old daughter who's an aspiring chef, and she started talking to the owners about different items she needed, rather than shoo her off because she's a kid, they answered all her questions about the items. I went back today and purchased those items for her. It's the treatment I get here is why I prefer to shop local.

Excellent quality cutlery and kitchenware. Always leave with more than planned. Like a candy store for the family or professional chef. Tidbits to the razor sharp German knife.

I've always had a great experience here, the knife sharpening services they offer are amazing. My family raves about how good of a job they do here. Relatives from much larger markets bring me their knives so I can bring them here. They've also always been happy to special order stuff when I asked. Will come back in a heartbeat.
