“Good local eatery with some interesting selections from breakfast items to dinner items. These guys are famous for their desserts including their cheesecakes. We came out here traveling and with no idea where to go we rolled up into this place. Service was very nice. Pricing was reasonable. Portions were good size. I tried half a dozen items on the menu. The Boston clam chowder was really nice and had some good chunks of clam. The Manhattan chowder was equally tasty and was the winner between my choice. The Reuben sandwich was really yummy but it would have loved to have seen a little bit more meat included. Fish and chips was really good. Greek salad was massive and very tasty. The cheesecake selection was huge and we tried two different cheesecakes both were excellent and it seemed that none of them you can go wrong with. In no ways was I overly thrilled with everything but I really enjoyed my meal and it was definitely a good find on my way to Boston.”

“For The Love Of Bacon, the name alone speaks to me in conjunction with my often spoken phrase, "Bacon makes everything better". Walking into the shop we were greeted by a life size Deadpool statue wearing a mask and a KETO sign, we learned he is inside the entry way for winter, normally residing outside beckoning travelers to stop for a picture and a visit to the shop. We were greeted by staff and began to take in the vast inventory of Keto friendly foods. Everything from the namesake bacon to jerky, prepared meals, meats, cheeses, desserts, condiments, snacks and other items. It is a lot to take in and we enjoyed browsing and selecting a mix of items to try. I will update the review after sampling our purchases but we enjoyed our first visit and found the staff friendly and helpful.”

The prices are a little on the high side for a place you have to dig through, but still reasonable and willing to negotiate a bit. From outdated autopart catalogs/guides, mcm furniture, car parts, records, and architectural salvage this place has it all. And john the owner is very knowledgeable and friendly, the dog you need to watch out for, a little to friendly and loud.”

“We could not be happier with our experience! We had an old Ethan Allen chair that was still so comfortable, but had been destroyed by time and cats! Every time I looked at buying a new chair, I just knew there was more life in our old comfortable one. Michael brought our old chair back to life! He took the time to really care for this project! I truly feel that the time and the money spent were absolutely worth it. This was a new experience for us… we have always gotten used or bought new furniture. It did take several months and we emailed back and forth a bit. I learned how busy the business is right now… in a next day Amazon world, we had to remind ourselves that not everything is overnight :) If you are trying to decide whether to buy something new or invest the time and money in an old cherished piece, I highly recommend going for it and trusting Michael with the work! We could never have gotten something so high quality and beautiful for the price, and it was worth the wait!”

“I went here a week before Halloween and they still had a great selection of costumes. The employees were super friendly and helpful. It’s a little pricey, but not too bad. You were actually allowed to try on the costumes as opposed to Spirit Halloween where you can’t. So much better than other Halloween stores, and this is a costume store open year round. Me and my family will definitely continue coming here for any costume needs!”
