“My girlfriend and I had been dealing with our dog’s anxiety since we had adopted him. He had serious anxiety and leash aggression. He would tear apart kennels and we would avoid walking him in public, since it was too much to handle. We had hired a trainer previously, but her methods were, for lack of a better term, stupid an ineffectual. About a year later we came to Kate. Kate clearly loves working with her animals and was very patient with our dog (and us) during our training. Her methods are direct and effective. She helped give us the tools to work with our animal and we can now all go for stress free walks. Highly recommend.”

“I had my sweet boy for 15 years, I had gotten him from Cathy when I was just 16. This dog had changed my life for the better and I could never have asked for a better companion growing up. Yesterday morning I had to have him put down in my arms after having him for half my life. I recommend these pups she breeds, they have good genes and gentle souls.”

“We had sulfur water in our house and just dealt with it for years because I did research and it seemed there weren't many good solutions. Our whole house would smell like eggs when we took a shower, ran the dishwasher or did laundry. Mark dropped off a business card at the house when working on a neighbors house and offered to test the water for free. He said he could take the egg-water smell out with his carbon water filter. I figured it was worth a shot and had the filter installed in 2014. Best investment ever, the water tastes great now! I had to bleach our well in 2018 and the chlorine sapped the carbon and had Gary come back to replace it. Very fair price to replace the media. Had a leak in 2020 and Gary came back to fix for a very fair price. I am very happy with A-1 and recommend them!”

“Sunday is the day my sister and I take my 88 yr old Dad out for breakfast. Haven’t been happy with our experience at a Cobleskill Diner in the past, so we decided to take a scenic drive. We googled restaurants and The Black Cat came up. We found a diamond in the rough. What a quaint little cafe that reminded us of the 50’s. Food was yummy and the owner was very accommodating. Will definitely be back.”
