“I went to this beach to watch the sunset and it DID NOT disappoint! The beach is small and clean for the most part. There were secured kayaks and canoes which made things look a little messy, but they were out of the way. Special bonus: a small herd of deer came running onto the beach at sunset. It was terrific!”

“Really well laid out park. Handball, racquet ball, baseball, kids playground. All here for the entire family to enjoy. This was my first visit to this park although I have lived in the area for more than six years. If I'm not mistaken, I believe I saw water sprinklers for the children to run through on those hot summer days. Take the kids for a day out. They will sleep good that night :)”

“Some of the best mountain biking on long island. The trails are well maintained and allow for intermediate to advanced bikers to go as easy or hard as they want. The woods are beautiful and wildlife abounds. Make sure you stop several times to enjoy the moment.”

“Hopefully they continue to knock down houses and return land back to the Nature Preserve. It's a beautiful important part of the ecology in Long Island and Northport Fort Salonga. It's a shame that new homes are being built around the area destroying the water table and the ecology natural water flow etc etc. Thank you for preserving this area please keep it clean take out what you take in and leave no Trace but footprints.”

“This is a nice park. It has two ice rinks, a big pool, a golf course, a playground, a basketball court, and a picnic area. It is mainly only accessible by car. There are bathrooms available. The pool is Olympic sized and has a 12 foot deep diving area. The pool changing rooms are nice, but somewhat awkward because they are outside.”

“Oh boy what a fun place to play around in the woods, just watch the steps on the trails for used condoms, people have too much fun during the woods here sometimes. Nice park and great baseball fields. Nice tennis and basketball courts too play with but sometimes weird people just hang out in the cars while being parked in the lot. Friends and I build the lean to in these woods. The picture is that”

“They recently added a spray park and the kids have a blast playing there. The only problem is half of the teenage staff that works the spray park don't even do their job. Besides that its a great park.”
