“My daughter is 16 and has been dancing with Barefoot since she was 2 years old. It has been a life-changing experience for her. Barefoot Dance is my dream dance school. - the dance school I wish I had as a child. The emphasis at Barefoot is on authentic movement with natural alignment of the body. There is no forcing the body into unnatural positions that will cause future damage. The emphasis is on the creative process, not the finished product. At the end of year dance concert the costumes are simple and the emphasis is on the dancing, not the costumes. The director, Jessie Levey did her Master's thesis on the over-sexualization of girls in dance, and this is not something that happens at Barefoot. I appreciate that all gender identities and body types are welcome at Barefoot. I cannot recommend this dance school highly enough for your dancer.”

“Rev. Lou was awesome!! He officiated over my wedding earlier this year and I could not have asked for a better officiant. Rev. Lou spent a lot of time getting to know us as a couple and put together an absolutely beautiful ceremony. He incorporated the personal tidbits he learned from our meetings with the religious elements we requested and overlaid that with a great sense of humor – all of which created a very warm and welcoming environment. You are in good hands with Rev. Lou!”

“What a great gym! I’m used to climbing in big NYC gyms where the bouldering sections are bigger than this entire gym, and I thought BC would be too small. It’s not, it’s perfect. The problems are very very well set, fun, and incredibly varied. There are enough new problems each week that you’ll always have something to work on. The staff is super nice and helpful. The prices are reasonable. Not having grades is a little weird in the beginning, but I love it. Makes you try problems you’d otherwise never try (because you read the grade and think they’re too hard or too easy). All around, highly recommended.”

“Opus 40 is an interesting place. It was nice to walk around and sit a little. We visited on the way to somewhere else, which was perfect and I recommend. I don’t think it’s worth going well out of your way to visit, unless you’re extremely hyped for Opus 40 and want to spend significant time there. It is an impressive piece of work that one man put together. There is a museum on the property with old work tools and a video explaining the artist and the process.”

“Beautiful resort. Visited on a Saturday to try something besides Hunter and Windham and was very pleased. Very powdery, good grooming team. Plenty of varied terrain apart from the glades which don't seem to be open often. Lifts are managed very well, and the ride from bottom to top in the gondola happens in the blink of an eye. Max wait time was less than 5 minutes for a Saturday. Very impressive.”

“plan a day here - It's huge and amazing - wear your work clothes... The staff greeted us when we entered - though there is no staff on the show floors. But when leaving the staff did ask about our experience and if we were looking for specific items”

“I was up here for a night for a work retreat and it was divine. The property is beautiful on a nice chunk of land in the Catskills. Other cabins I have stayed at have that musky smell due to being in such a remote, damp area but Urban Cowboy was comfy and immaculate. The staff is fantastic and incredibly accommodating, every detail of the property is well thought out and the big soaking tub with a view is a major plus. We had so much fun bonding as a team with endless on-property activities and nooks and crannies to relax. I told my family how much I enjoyed my stay and we are already thinking about doing a reunion up here. I definitely recommend staying here for a weekend to relax, unwind and have fun.”

“Had a great experience doing the motorcycle 101 and basic rider course last weekend. BettyRae and Janice are effective teachers who complement each other’s personalities and teaching styles well. As a first-time-driving-a-bike rider, I recommend taking the 101 course to gain familiarity with the controls and confidence ahead of the basic rider course.”

“I’ve been out ice climbing with EMS a handful of times over the last two years and keep coming back for more. The instructors are great and extremely knowledgeable. The prices and service are unbeatable. We’ve had a blast and can’t wait to take more courses with the school throughout the year. I would highly recommend EMS!”

“We needed our home audio set up in a media console that was too small for our receiver. We were told by someone else we would need to bypass our home speakers or buy a new receiver. Mark came by and not only saw a way to use our home speakers and current receiver in our fancy-but-too-small media cabinet, but he completely the job with ease and professionalism. Additionally, he was able to cut cord holes in our media cabinet (which came with none) and did beautiful job. I can't recommend him enough for getting the job done right and keeping the customer happy! Very friendly and personable too.”
