“It is great to have unique restaurants that are around to try. This place was recommended and the food was beyond great! Their combo of rice and egg noodles dish was delicious, fresh ingredients and can feed easily 2 people. All their portions are definitely easy enough to share with other. The fried pork sizzling platter was crispy and had such great flavor. Some of their main dishes don't come with rice- highly recommend getting their garlic rice to pair with any protein dish. Their desserts can also be shared and are not too sweet and carry hints if unique citrus or Filipino flavors. Will definitely be back to try other dishes!”

“Wow. What a gem. Beautiful scenery, delicious & thoughtful food, what more could I ask for. Their menu has a little something for everyone and their cocktails were very good. This was my first time trying German food and it did not disappoint. Definitely sit out on the deck for an amazing view. I can’t wait to come back !!”

“We don't know enough about Salvadorean food to know how authentic the food is. I think we have excellent taste in food though and the food was delicious, plentiful and pretty cheap compared to where we live. Ordered the chicken soup, chicken tacos, a few different types of pupusas (queso, chicharron, loroco, espinaca and pollo) and an enchiladas for family of 4. Way too much food! The soup is HUGE! Wish we lived more local because we would definitely return.”

“Always delicious and fresh every time I've gone, whether it's by myself or with friends. I've never been disappointed here. Really kind staff as well.”

“I was up here for a night for a work retreat and it was divine. The property is beautiful on a nice chunk of land in the Catskills. Other cabins I have stayed at have that musky smell due to being in such a remote, damp area but Urban Cowboy was comfy and immaculate. The staff is fantastic and incredibly accommodating, every detail of the property is well thought out and the big soaking tub with a view is a major plus. We had so much fun bonding as a team with endless on-property activities and nooks and crannies to relax. I told my family how much I enjoyed my stay and we are already thinking about doing a reunion up here. I definitely recommend staying here for a weekend to relax, unwind and have fun.”

“One of the best experiences of food we have ever had. Amazing flavors, quality and freshness in a beautiful mountain location.”

“Rooms are small and very expensive but lovely. Dinner in the main Dining room is great, lunch buffet is ok. We reserved a time in the Granary for dinner on Thursday night and were put in the main dining room because the Granary is closed on Fridays, which didn't make sense and just seemed like a miscommunication. So we had dinner Thursday AND lunch Friday in the main dining room (lunch was buffet and didn't seem necessary to make a reservation) and never got to check out the Granary. The hiking was great, the lake was beautiful, the grounds were wonderful. The price is steep, but for a special occasion, this place is fantastic.”
