“Nice park to take bored kids to run around in while you can sit under the shade and watch them play. Port-a-potties for restrooms. Close to Westchester Medical Center so you can bring the kids here while waiting for someone to be released or while they are at the clinic so they aren't bored in the waiting room. Wish they had a water fountain.”

“With over 1400 acres and growing this preserve is known for its great dirt trails for walking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. It is a bird watching paradise and it has an important bird area which is a must visit for birders. The diversity of mostly native flora is of great importance to naturalists and enthusiasts alike. If you are interested in learning or expanding your knowledge of trees, shrubs, and bushes surrounding the swampy border of Swan Lake, the Preserve offers Tree Walks. I recently attended an outstanding Tree Walk conducted by Naturalist John McShane. The views are simply magnificent.”

“Pretty fun place to mtb with a small area for jumps for beginners and intermediate riders. Lots of climbing to get to the highest point in the park but fun downhill once you get there. Small parking lot but usually not too crowded at least on weekdays. No facilities except for a portable bathroom.”

“Very nice park to spend the day. Two playgrounds. Two baseball fields. A picnic area you can rent for parties, BBQ, or any other gathering. There's a couple of tennis courts a creek to fish in. There's water and a comfort station. It also has a bit of history. The old headless house man's trail.”

“Great time at the park with my daughter. She loved the splash pad (gated) and really enjoyed the park as a whole. Free street parking, free splash pad, two different gated playgrounds that are separately gated. There's a bathroom and a picnic area that's great for snack time or even lunch. Would definitely recommend.”
