“I am the 3rd owner of my home- built in 1930. Our awning was installed over 20 years ago and maintained by Westchester Awning for the 2nd owner. They highly recommend keeping Westchester awning as our provider. They recently replaced the original with a new cover. No hard sell, they just informed us that the old one was near they end of it's use ( we could tell it was almost done) The new one is made just as well as the old one. They take customer service serious as they are old school. I had questions and concerns about the new cover and they called back quickly to answer my questions. They are in business to service the customer.”

Then the actual installation was painless.. the technician arrived only to find that my windows were so large and difficult to mount... but not a problem! The technical called for backup and within 20 minutes another technican arrived to install everything... within 15 minutes I had fully installed blinds ... it was amazing... they packed up every box, wrapping and old window furnishings and took away leaving me with the most gorgeous new blinds! thank you shade store!!”

“This comment box isn't big enough to capture all the praise I have for Odie and Irena Faria. We are beyond THRILLED, ELATED, GRATEFUL, AND OVER-THE-MOON about the work that they did for us and our home. It’s AMAZING. We did a 3-story addition on the back of our Tudor home (originally built in 1929). We met with 7 contractors and we were so happy to have picked Odie and Design & Remodeling Specialists. Odie made every element of our project so much better. He made it look better than we ever thought was possible. It was a big job with redoing 3 bathrooms, a full gut job on the kitchen and a complete demolition of our basement. Given that it was an old house, we ran into some unforeseen issues with cracked sewer pipes and termite eaten structural beams. I'm so very happy that Odie was helping us and made it all work at a reasonable price. We also did a whole new deck, stone patio, spiral staircase and custom bookshelves. Irena was phenomenal with her direction and advice about bathrooms and our kitchen. She has a wonderful design aesthetic and she got a sense of what we liked and had wonderful options for us. We are so very happy with how everything turned out and looks. Project started in May/June 2017 and lasted about 10 months. Given the three-story addition onto the back of an old house, there were some structural elements that required care and time (i.e. steel structural beams). Odie handled everything so expertly. He managed my expectations and was a wonderful partner with the entire project. I have the highest praise possible for Odie and Irena. Besides being absolutely delightful, lovely people, they are fantastic experts and professionals. Thank you so very much Odie & Irena and Design & Remodeling Specialists. We are sooooo appreciative of your work. Working with you was a dream come true!!!!”
