“We were appealed by the adorable exterior of El Churro when we were driving on 1st Ave and decided to give it a try since we are fans of churros. When we visited Barcelona in 2019, we had churros and porras every day as breakfast. We miss it so much and haven't found a spot serving competitive version here in NYC yet. We got an order of 5 Churros, Dark Chocolate Dip and 2 cups of Latte to share between two of us. The portion was great enough with a reasonable price and the taste was decent. It was fried freshly and served warm. It's perfect to go with dark chocolate dip, soft and satisfying inside with crunchy layer. However, we expect the texture to be much more fluffy and hope it will be improved.”

“I’ve been waiting to visit here for a long time. I felt it was worth the hype. I had a macchiato. The espresso was very good. Not too bitter, a touch of sharpness tempered by the milk. Well done folks. It was lightly busy. All the tables were full, but I had just enough patience to wait, and one opened up. It was a great little place to chill. Music definitely didn’t fit the vibe. But not a deal breaker.”

“Obsessed! I was skeptical at first about trying a coffee shop in a train station, normally those aren’t good. But this was an amazing experience. Not only are the staff extremely friendly, but this has to have been the best hojicha latte I’ve ever had. We got there at around 12 and the pastry selection was pretty much done which was disappointing, but we still managed to get a cookie and a bagel with cream cheese. Both were delicious. We didn’t know it was pumpernickel bagel which I hateeeee but we could hardly taste the pumpernickel here. Highly recommend! I thought being near the train it would be noisy but it wasn’t! Can’t wait to go back!”

“I really loved the fried meet and the garnishes! All of them were excellent. Not a huge fan of the rice but I know it is just because that was my first time and I was trying something new out. The service was great and I appreciated being exposed to a different culture’s kind of cuisine. Will highly recommend. Great food!”

“Such a cute and fun spot to enjoy your tea and try some tasty desserts. We had a cold white tea (that was absolutely delicious), strawberry smoothie and the brown sugar crepe cake. The crepe cake was delicious and I highly recommend trying it. Was a little dissatisfied with the fact that we had to wait for quite a while for our order but they apologized and the taste was worth the wait. The location is also very nice.”

“Took my son here for lunch. I thought this was a restaurant but it's more of a prepackaged food place. Nevertheless they can make you fresh smoothies and sandwiches as well as take some of the items that are packaged for to go and heat them up for you. The food is very healthy and it's all plant-based so thumbs up on that. I believe you can get a package of meals for the week here and if I lived nearby I probably take advantage of that. Don't come here and expect a restaurant like experience, but if you just want some healthy vegan food this is your place. I would definitely come here again if I was in the area. Also I met the owner and she was super nice”

“Stopped by after a visit to nearby American Museum of Natural History - within walking distance. Delicious and hot sandwiches just what we needed that day! The fries were great and we also tried a cup of the chicken noodle soup, which is made from scratch in store! Absolutely delicious and prices are fair. Service was good too 👌 Will definitely go this place more often!”

“Randomly stumbled upon this spot! We were driving from NJ to Montréal, Canada and hit the Albany area for a late breakfast/early lunch. The place is so cute! A bunch of small rooms, dark wood trim, fireplaces, old portraits. Food service was efficient and food was tasty. I had the chicken club sandwich-chicken was soft and moist. Fries were also great. Others in my group had the stuffed French toast (good, but wouldn’t call it stuffed. It was a breakfast sandwich with French toast bread), grilled cheese and potato soup (asked for white bread but received marbles rye, also the cheese was a thin strip, or gooey like you would expect), and a burger. Also had the maple latte-excellent! Very sugary but it was a treat so it’s fine. Also, we went around 10:30am on a Thursday. No wait to be seated.”

“What a wonderful shop! Not only do they have dozens of unique plants and plant related items, they also have a great cafe with a plethora of snacks. There's also an outdoor seating area that is decorated with plants. I was really excited to find a large strand of pearl plant there too and they even threw in a few long stem roses as a bonus gift! I will absolutely be shopping there again!”

“What a fanatic little hidden gem. We were driving through the area and found City Line was on our way. Great menu of sandwiches, paninis and wraps and really great prices. Sandwiches were speedily made and they were thoughtful to slice a sandwich in 2 for the kids. Really tasty chicken panini and my kids gobbled up their turkey deli sandwich, which is not always the case! The extra helpful employee even gave my son (3) a bandaid as he was besides himself about a scratch. If we were local, this would absolutely be our go-to sandwich spot!!”

“We love this place! The food is delicious, the bubble tea is fantastic, and the selection of board games is top-notch. The staff are all so friendly and they do a great job fostering a welcoming & inclusive space. The special events are so much fun and the 'pixel to plate dinners' are well executed. There's nothing negative to say, this is a great business doing great things for the community!”

“We were delighted to find a Mango Mango Dessert store in Niagara, NY during our visit. We discovered Mango Mango Dessert in Hawaii and its one of our favorite places for mango drinks and desserts. We picked up the Mango Pancakes for our dessert after dinner. I'm so impressed with this brand in terms of their presentation, style, variety, taste and service. Always a great customer experience. If you love mango, stop by and become fans like we are. Aloha”

“Literally the best food ever. Lived in the Bronx for a year and went here at least twice a week for lunch. The best tortas, quesadillas, hot food bar (meatballs are everything!), and flutas. Moved back to Maryland and my only regret is leaving this place behind. I’m eating a torta now and it doesn’t compare. 😩”

“My favorite empanada was the Americana. I can’t wait to go back and buy more. I bought chicken, beef and sweet plantain with cheese as well. I also tried the mango smoothie and the frozen piña colada. If I were to choose one, I would order the frozen piña colada again. I tried all three sauces and those are really good too. What’s cool about the empanadas is that they are marked with its flavor. So if you bought chicken, it would say (PC) for plain chicken on the side of empanada or (B) for ground beef. Don’t miss out on the Americana, definitely add it to your order.”

“Nice staff, made my drink quickly and correctly. The store was a bit dated and a bit unkept with the cleaning that I am accustomed to with other Starbucks. Still a great experience none the less :) good job guys and thanks.”

“Slow store. Waited long time for drink. The cashier taking order looked confused like she didn't know what I was talking about. I had to tell her other stores have no problem making the drink the way I like it. All I said was not too much ice and that was really difficult.”

“Really irritating that they tell you to choose from the tip menu when I'm going out of my comfort zone to buy product which is not being delivered to me at my table. Really, this is not a right. It's not specifically to this location but all locations now. Tip industry can't be where I come to them to buy. If you don't deliver to me with my convenience maintained, I don't agree to tip! But I'll happily donate to the cause for their student funds if that were an option.”
