“Cute little cafe just by the train station. I took a random ride to Peekskill and had brunch here while waiting for a return train to Manhattan. The service was good and the food was fresh and tasty, great coffee. Very peaceful place, This will definitely be a regular brunch plan. The lounge side of this cafe opens at midday, I’ll try it next time. Finally got a chance to try the food here! The late Sunday lunch was great, we had a good time and Samantha was very good with the suggestions from the menu and drinks.”

“Oldstone Inn is truly a hidden gem. My husband and I stayed there for a much needed pandemic getaway and had an incredible experience. The grounds and views are beautiful but the real standouts were the food and the lovely, attentive staff. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional, without being pretentious (as often happens with fine dining). Many of the team members are Blue Hill at Stone Barns alumns and their passion for their craft was evident in every single dish. They took care to modify dishes based on our dietary preferences and it was a pleasure speaking with the chefs, who came out periodically, as well as the servers, who were happy to tell us the story behind each dish. We can’t wait to return and check out the outdoor casual dining menus which will be rolling out soon.”

“We come here often because the food here is consistently delicious. I’ve seen reviews that this is not authentic Filipino food. I can’t speak to that, but I can say that all the dishes we’ve tried, which are about 80% of the current menu are fresh and tasty. We love the fried pork, crisp and meaty. I also suggest the desserts, which are not overly sweet and really great for sharing. I’m a big fan of the ox tail, but it is a fatty dish (that’s just the nature of ox tail). If you want to go at a great time, try going on a Sunday for a late lunch.”

“This place was recommended by a good friend of mine and she was absolutely on the money! The food was AMAZING! the service was wonderful everyone was so nice and attentive. Seasoning was just perfect not too heavy not too light and authentic Jamaican flavors (taste palette reference I’m also from the Caribbean). Only reason it’s not a 5 star is because we were a bit cramp, we were seated by the door it was not horrible nor did it take away from the experience but if it was bit more spacious it would have been a lot more comfortable at least from from where we were seated.
