“This is a very cute and charming flower shop. Very well decorated and such beautiful flowers inside. Everything looks so lovely and made with taste. The reason we came to this shop was their small hidden cafe inside, but with outdoor seating. Beautiful setting! They serve the best cappuccino in the neighborhood.What a cute place!! I even got to chose my own cup ☺️ (having a right cup for my coffee/cappuccino is a very big deal for me). Many places spoil the experience with their paper cups or big mugs. We received great service and had an amazing time enjoying our coffee/cappuccino on a beautiful sunny day. Keep up the good job!”

“I had a pleasurable experience here today shopping for shoes to accommodate a recent medical issue. I have always had wide feet and thus shopping for shoes has always been a nightmare. I left my house today in a very old but barely used pair of shoes I bought many years ago to accommodate orthotics for tendinitis and because they had been sealed in a box and no air had gotten to the soles, as I was walking the soles disintegrated! I never knew rubber soles need oxygen. It was snowing today and I was officially out and about and utterly screwed. After begrudgingly buying a pair of crocks at a retailer that caters to "regular" sized feet, to get my swollen feet into until I could find a longer-term solution for my recent illness, I tried various orthidics retailers for "special" shoes to no avail until someone suggested AAA to me. Although typically they require appointments, I lucked out and arrived when the store had an opening. Alyx was very helpful in solving my immediate and urgent need. He is very kind and knowledgeable and I will be a frequent customer of his from now on. I can't remember the last time I walked out of a shoe store smiling and elated! Thank you again Alyx!!!”

They just hustle to get you out and get your money. But, these two lovely ladies allows you to try on as many dresses as you like and give their honest opinion. My mother, sister, and me visited them after my mom bought a dress from them (that looked absolutely lovely on her! 🤩) They helped my sister and me find dresses that fit us so perfectly. I thought I found a dress that fit me well, but they found another dress that fit me even better. They also helped us find jewelry that went so well with the dresses. All of the baristas are incredibly pleasant and are great at recommending drinks and customizing them to your liking. The menu has a great variety and you can always a get a copycat of your favorite “chain store” drink (and a better one at that!) While I’m a die-hard coffee girl (iced caramel or mocha latte for me!), what has really sold me at Reverie is their food. I love the variations on classic breakfast items like waffles with delectable toppings, and “hummus toast” as opposed to the traditional avocado. “This Is the best bookstore I've ever been to, and I have such a fond memory of it. I live in Texas, my son goes to Union College and I was visiting him and we found this place by walking around. Everything about it is perfect, the old building it's in, the books everywhere, the smell of books and every kind of book from antiques to new releases. One day my son was in class and I went to this bookstore alone and it started to rain, a downpour like magic. I spent the next couple hours relaxing in a chair, listening to it rain while flipping through books. The owner was there and he is perfect fit for building, the relaxing rain, the books. He is an older man and wore a sweater, the type you would imagine an intellect would ware, I bet he has read every book there! He himself is a library of knowledge. I talked to him, asked him if he had anything by Edward Young, author or "Night Thoughts" and we began a lovely conversation. He showed me his photo box he made for selling books online, I believe Abe books. I could of talked to him all day. He is the kind of person that if you do not meet or get to know, you doing yourself a disservice I bought some books that day for my son's 19th birthday. My son is always reading and the ones I picked out he soaked up. I have not been back to New York since then, (October 2021)but I need to. I talk to my son daily and i often bring up how that bookstore is an antidepressant. I hope it never closes, I hope the owner never dies. If you have a chance to go there, bring a flashlight for the rows are perfectly narrow and there are books everywhere, you will find at least one that will call to you”

“This is a hole in the wall. Take out only. We've passed them on our way to visit family in West Babylon many times. But it's usually for a family gathering with plenty of food, so we were never able to stop in. This time, we were just stopping by to help with computer problems. Hubby is IT. Yay, we got to try this Haitian restaurant finally! We got Beef Legume and Black Rice, this is so good!!! The black rice was so flavorful that you could eat it without anything else. Oxtail with Black Rice was tasty, but the oxtail could be more tender. We took everything back to his nephew's house. He has 2 little ones, and neither he nor the kids ever had Haitian food. Everyone loved it! Even the pikliz! LOL Will definitely try to go back next time we are in the area!”
